Inspired by a recent trip to my old home town, I found myself unable to curb the compulsion to play with the CFE and recreate an old sailing vessel. Granted, the ship was a complete wreck when I had glimpsed it, but it fueled my imagination as to what it had looked like in its glory days.

The Venture comes with crow’s nest, rigging, bowsprit, plank, playable hull if you add stairs/ladder, and its sails are furled, for a change.

Custom Content Included:
- Numenor’s Maxis “Lost & Found” Timber Column, found here at
- Targa’s Designer LadderStairs, found here at
- Texture for the Ship’s Sails, Netting/Rigging and the Worn Wood taken, with permission, from various ship photos on
- Custom wallpapers, terrain paint and tiles by V1ND1CARE

Custom Content NOT Included:
- UK1967’s Cannon from his Medieval Collection (Part 1), found here:

*NOTE: Please DO NOT upload this lot to the Exchange and/or any paysites without my consent.

Lot Size: 5x2
Lot Price: 72,004

Custom Content by Me:
- These floorboards may look worn and battered, but that's because they've stood up to decades of use on stages throughout Studio Town. Also available in parquet. (Altered by V1ND1CARE)

Custom Content Included:
- "LadderStairs" -by Targa by Targa
- Maxis Lost & Found #21 - Timber and Steel Column by Numenor

Additional Credits:
Special thanks to Delphy, who was gracious enough to allow me to create textures from his gallery.

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.
