This is a new mesh recolour, and means that you will need to download the particular mesh itself in order for this to show up in your game. See the Meshes Needed section or read the text for more information.
This recolor pack includes six pebbledash stairs matching my walls (here and here) including the asphalt and cement, but not the chipped bricks. They didn't do very well and will require more tweaking.

Also included are red chimney brick stairs and red brick stairs that match the Maxis walls as much as I was able to get them to. Due to how Maxis mapped the stairs they don't look very good from the side. I recommend hiding them with landscaping.

Also because of how the stairs are mapped the railings are unable to be recolored independently of the stairs. So, they're brickified and pebbledashed. No help for it.

Please use my recolors freely and follow Numenor's terms of use for the stairs themselves. ***Please make sure to follow the link and grab his stair over ride or these will not work!***

I know you posted this upload a looong time ago,
but maybe you could still help me?
I seem to be having trouble with the recolors.
It will let me recolor all but the second stair from the top.
Have I done something wrong?

I initially was having troubles with this too, but you actually can recolor the second step from the top. Make sure your recoloring tool points at the bottom most part of that particular step, where the second from top step meets the third. That second step will then be selectable; the area to select that step is just SUPER small. Hope that helps

Edit: I also find that it helps if you're currently viewing the lot while on the same level as the bottom of the stairs. That way the top-most step you see is the next to highest step.
