My husband served in the Military as well. This career is very realistic and follows the reality of how the Army is set up. Thanks for the cool new career!

My cousin is in the army. He's lucky if he gets home at 8pm. Most of the time, he's working 12-15 hours at a time. He says he's happy though...the nut. :P

This is my first time ever posting and I've been a member on MTS2 for a while now. I just had to thank for this realistic Army career. My husband and I are both in the army(he's an E5 and I'm an E4) but the Maxis military career was too off track. Now our sim family can be more realistic.

Lol This is a great career but I do think the hours are a little short. My hubby is usually gone from 6 am until 6 pm at least. Plus there should be a sim deployment in there somewhere.

Thanks for this career, my husband served 8 years in the Navy and just recently switch over to the Army. I wonder if there is a way to do a deployable status where the spouse doesn't come home for a while??? My husband finally returns from Korea tomorrow after an 18 month seperation!!! WHOO HOO!!!

I understand completely about the hours, my husband is gone from 6a-8p almost everyday, but that is why I said 7a-5p (which is standard hours) is a dream!! As far as the deployment, the most they can be gone for is one day for 22 hours. Believe me I would have liked that if I could work that in. My suggestion there, is to play as if they are deployed and have them live seperately for about a week. Make a type of barracks for him (or her) to live in then have him to move back in, just play both lots to keep their age together.

Whttiger1025 I know how you feel with that Korea tour, my husband got orders to Korea just 2 months shy of our 1st year anniversary, plus we have dealt with 2 deployments to Iraq...So WHOO HOO is right, it is awesome when they walk back through that door

I will play my sims today, then clean my house tomorrow...

This is a great mod. Now all we need is some "on post housing." That could be really interesting. Thank you for the time and effort you put into this mod.

Now that they've come out with the vacation expansion, maybe our beloved in game spouses could "go on vacation" as a deployment. Of course, then it would be helpful to be able to custom make a "vacation" spot as well.

I'm getting the BV EP later on this week so I'm not sure if this could be done, but it would be interesting to see.

You can make a custom vacation spot so that would be a good idea.

Speaking of Vacation, this career is compatible with Bon Voyage. And actually, i had another thought. Since I have like 5 Military career tracks now including this one, I'm glad my sims have a choice. So thank you for making this.

Thank you for that great career.

I love it and its perfect. Speaking of deployment, why not that covering with a chance card? (E4 or E5)
Fail reduction of body skills, do to injury.
Pass increasing a logic and body skill.
For both chances some money that is covering BAH, Hardship, and Combat Money.

Any chance there are other Military Careers in the works? mybe if some of the people who play can help with the Chance Cards?

1. If you can't respect another's POV, you have no right to complain when he doesn't respect yours.
2. If you can't tell the difference between Real Life and a Game, seek professional help.

I am taking a break from creating right now. Just enjoying playing the game, but if anyone wants to help and send chance cards for a new career they want I will be more than happy to work with someone to create a career, Military or other. Thanks!
