Nice! I've never had my Sims get married anywhere but home....does it actually give the option of them getting married? Can you throw the party there?

you can't throw them a party, although i could make a church/ chapple lot with a separate building for the party, if i add a normal phone, you might be able to ring up and have a party. If you keep an eye on this thread, i'll see what i can do and post the results.

I built my own wedding chapel with the arch using the cheat you mentioned, but I can't make my sims get married in the chapel! Any suggestions?

I have done plenty of stupid things in the past. I have the scars -physical and emotional- to prove it. Do I have regrets? No. If anything, I'm proud to have these scars, as trophies of life experience I've gained, and to say, 'Hey, I survived. You can too.'

Hi, the "lots+housing uploads FAQ" state that if you have Nightlife, it will be a requirement even if there is no content from Nightlife included. Also, the ability to marry on a community lot is EP-specific as far as I know. But there are hacks, too, if you don't have the EP that allows community lot weddings.

Okay, I'm having a problem. I've downloaded the lot and installed it into my computer... 3 freakin' times. And it wont show up on my computer. I have nightlife, and I get the little message saying I installed it right, but it wont show up.

Whats wrong.

Thanks, I'll brighten the place up and all so that it looks as welcoming as the church I *used* to go to... dunno why everyone thinks churches have to be gothic and dark. :/

**Just an FYI in case someone would like to download this...you CANNOT get married on a community lot until I think BV using a regular marriage arch. YOU CAN use a hack made by Squinge found here:
http://www.insimenator.org/index.php/topic,8521.0.html

to have a working wedding arch on a community lot. NO you still can't have a wedding party so it might not be worth it to use it...unless you have tons of aspiration points already. What I found is the best way to do it is- make a wedding party group meet at a community lot 'just for fun' (I guess I never tried the 'outing' option because my sims always want to play when they go on an outing). Then drive to the lot with the church and have one of your sims click that arch. ANYONE on the lot at the time will instantly be in formal wear and will sit in the pews or seats you have near the arch so you don't have to worry about guests...but there is no 'honeymoon'. After the wedding cut scene plays everyone just stands around and chats.

If your sim does NOT reside on your lot already- end the casual group and return home, then call up your spouse and invite them over, once they are on your lot they will become playable. OH, forgot- when you get married you get the 'moving in' pop-up (if they live with other sims) and even if you don't invite all the people who are supposed to be moving in- they will be on your lot when you reenter your lot again.
