This is a vacation home I built for your Sims looking for a second place to live during those hot summers! This lot includes:

-1 Master Bedroom
-1 Guest/Child Bedroom (with 2 beds)
-1 Bathroom
-A Kitchen with Dining Area
-A living room
-A deck
-Two balconies
-A study
-A private beach

This is a beach lot and must be placed partially in the water!

Here are a few more images. They are big so I had to link them:

NO CUSTOM CONTENT
The price of this lot is $113,567.

Also, as a note, some people are having issues with vacation homes. Unless you haven't had any issues yet, I suggest you wait for a patch before you download this (or, you could make a test family in game.) The issue is not around custom content vacation homes, but vacation homes in general. ONLY SOME PEOPLE ARE EXPERIENCING THIS GAME (not lot) BUG AND IT MAY NOT BE WIDESPREAD.

Lot Size: 6x5
Lot Price: $113,567

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

Great house! How did you make a beach lot though? I have been trying for 4 days now. LOL

Is this split level work or "Open for buisness" platforms? hmm?

OFB. It's still technically split level because of it's layout and design. Using the foundation for split level causes annoyances with layout and design, as well as playability (It's kind of annoying to have to go down another floor just to access one of the rooms, and lose whats happening just above)

Amaris, you go to the Lots catalog on the neighborhood and their should be an option for beach lots under the empty lots tab.

Also, thanks for the comments

Nahele, for the Sims freezing thing - Have you tried boolProp testingcheatsenabled true and then hitting Force Error? If not, try it. A popup will come up, click Reset (NOTHING ELSE!)

Sims seem to not be able to go home after a vacation is over, they are stuck on the vacation home (or when they arrive home, they are sent back to the vacation one). Same thing happens with campgrounds with some people as well (as tents apparently don't work as hotels). Not a lot of people are having it though, I don't think, but making a quick test family and then motherloding them never hurts.

SillyBonn, you should be able to but I made this lot in Twikii Island so I am not sure. I think it will work though, because it's still a residential lot

And thanks for all the comments, downloads, and thanks

I have a bug, with some downloaded beach houses I just can't plant them no matter what I do. This is seriously frustrating cause with other downloaded beach lots, no problem. I hope yours works, its beautiful.....thank you

Eehrm, I don't know if I'm the only one experiencing this, but when I extract the rar-file, I get a folder called 'Vacation Home' which is empy.
So I can't install the house, since it isn't in the file. :/
Looking at the pics, it seems a great house though! Do you know if it's only a vacation home or that it can also be used as a beach house in normal 'hoods?

As it's a residential house, I would assume that yes, it can be used as a normal use. Make a test Sim first though to see if it works.

And not sure about your issue. Apparently no one else has it...try and redownload?

love this house very good job im gonna dled and try it out! also i noticed someone saying something about coming home from vacation but being sent back right away which had happend to me i don't know why and after the third time it frustrated me so i hurried up and called the vacation thing and it let me cancel it, i don't know if that is any help or if it was just plain dumb luck for me but i thought i would mention it.
