Glad to see everyone is liking this. Hey, Macey, I've been working on it since then, too! Not really, but this is the first time I have worked with this sort of thing, BHAV's and such. I've pretty much stuck to recolors before, with a mesh or two thrown in. This stuff is pretty complicated, but I wanted it soooo bad, I decided to make it myself. Now that I've modified Morague's object to have five sets of tattoos rather than two, hopefully it will be easier to just plop some different textures in there. So, I plan on doing some new tattoo sets soon, starting with some Sailor Jerry classics.

My favourite sim has a wife with that sun-on-the-hand-tattoo top thingy, and I just thought how bad it was that tattoo wasn't permanent.

Great work!! I also occasionally like my sims to have a tat or two and this is great that they won't come off with a change of clothes. I was kinda hoping that the fish tatoo with asian writing from the maxis blue halter top (adult female) would be included to but oh well, maybe in the future right? Anyhow these are a great addition to Morague's original overlays! Terrific job and thank you for uploading! :D

Oh, wait, what, there's another Maxis tattoo? Blue halter top, you say? I had to just make up 4 and 5 from other tattoos 'cause I couldn't find enough. Really, I didn't know! Where, on the sim, is it, 'cause I didn't see it. If you help me find it (silly me obviously needs help), I will replace one of my own with it in a snap. Like, by tomorrow. Post here or PM me!

It's a blue halter top for Female Adults that came with NightLife. It's a big tattoo on her back. Can't remember what it's of, but its quite colourful I think.

I've been wanting to do this ever since Morague came out with her Tattoo Overlay, so I'm pretty much jealous now! Thanks for it, anyway. Hopefully they'll be more people doing tattoo overlays- My hard disk is on the fritz and can't take a lot of skintones.

Do we need to take that one out before yours will work?

Also, if you have BV there were new tattoos in that pack. I know for sure that some can be found with boolprop and on the NPC Fire Dancer's outfit. It's a tribal-type tattoo and ever since I saw it I wanted it on my sims, I'm waiting patiently though. And if there are other tattoos that came with BV that I didn't notice, I'd love if you threw those in too! Appreciate this a lot as well because I really like the Maxis tattoos but thought it was weird how they could only be worn with a certain everyday outfit.

Jecctexx, no this will not conflict with Morague's. This is a new object with a new GUID. I have both in my game and they both work fine. Jnbilek, I do have BV, but haven't installed it yet. I always wait a month or so for J.M. Pescado to fix it up good enough that I can stand to play. Give me a few weeks, and I'll look into those, too. As for that tattoo I missed, I have finished separating it from the Maxis skin (the hard part) and will slap it into the object (the easy part) in the morning. Everyone come back tomorrow for the update.

Insane. Crazy. Totally physcotic. I have actually contacted Morague in the past asking if anyone had asked her if she minded them using her hack for a project like this, and she said that surprisingly no-one as of that time had done so (I guess a few people have been working on such a project, but it must be a long process), so this is an absolute dream come true for me.

I love tattoos, but I cant use them with custom body-shapes/Shower-proof skin tones... unless the are made with intergrated tattoos, and none do. Morague gave me a means to redress that isssue, but I am greedy, I wanted more and more tatts for my Sims.

So thank you very very very much. If you need more tattoos, well appart from the generic maxis ones, many of the skin tones I have seen that have tattoos (especially since Morague released the tat hack) here at MTS2 are made by artists who probably wouldnt/dont (if remember their Terms/Conditions correctly) mind remodifictaions to their work for this hack (though its easy enough to ask and find out), and there are some excellent ones out there (just thought I would mentions this since you said in an earlier post that you couldnt find more tattoos).

Hey Apis4, when I said I couldn't find more tattoos, I meant Maxis tattoos. I am considering doing xnymphetaminex's tattoos, in fact, I've already discussed it with her. The problem with using tattooed sim skins is it is very time consuming to separate the tattoo, which must be transparent and alone in a png, from the skintone. It is much easier to alter tattoo flash, or to draw my own. So, I plan on doing a few Sailor Jerry classic tattoos next, then a few I will draw myself, just because they will be quick and easy. Anyway, thanks everyone for the kudos.

Yeah cool, for sure maxis tatts, just a friendly suggestions is all, dont know about anything like this, technically wise that is, so didnt realise how much work it is. Which makes this all the better, again thanks.

EDIT: Just checked out xnymphetaminex's tattooed skins... I absolutely love them, infact it was her 'Fear of the Dragon' skin tones that I was actually thinking of when I asked morague if anyone had contacted her about more tatts for her hack, I asked xnymphetaminex the same thing, so I really cant wait to see how your work her tatts work out (consider this pre-emptive encouragement/thanks )

Oh okay, well the official BV patch did come out if you're worried about the NPC Spawning Bug but when you do install it and are feeling extra generous, I would definately download a new set of tattoos. And I can't wait to see your own work as well as some Sailor Jerry tattoos! Keep up the good work!
