Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
"The Cambridge" is a great house loaded with country charm. This larger home has 6 bedrooms (one is being used as an office) and 4 full baths (one being downstairs off the basement).

This house has everything! A functional side garage that is attached and a great walk out basement. The floorplan is open and airy with rooms flowing nicely from one to the next. Enter to find a large tiled foyer that opens to the dining room and great room. The great room opens to the gourmet kitchen with light filled breakfast nook.

Two bedrooms, an office and large bath are on one side of the house, while the master suite is secluded on the other side of the house and has is own bath. A guest bedroom is near by along with a nursery.

The side car garage has stairs that lead to the basement with windows and walk out patio area (with stairs to the back yard). A full bath is also attached to the basement.

The landscaping of the house is lovely with a pond area and quaint white picket fence. The backyard has a sparkling pool, spa and large veranda perfect for a BBQ. An orchard is also out back.

This house is CC free with no hacks - so download today! Please feel free to have a peek at my other houses. Cheers & Happy Simming!

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

The landscaping is amazing--it's hard to believe that you did all that without using any custom content! Great job.

I can always use a classy pad... And this is one classy pad! And a classy pad with no CC is just that much better! Thanks!

I just love all the landscaping, something that I am not good at all and split level homes.
Thanks for your fantastic work and now off to put a new family to work to buy their new home.

The garage is functional because the garage door really opens and closes and your sim's car can be placed in it.

Your sims can get in and out of the car in the garage and the garage door opens, however, the car pops to the street when your sims leave and when they return the car pops back into the garage. You can park cars on the straight part of the driveway and then your sims will leave and return normally.

Oh no! I'm so sorry that it's crashing your game. The only thing I can think of is perhaps you're not downloading the house correctly. I always use the Q-Xpress installer - if you're not using it I would suggest downloading that program and then try downloading the house again. Another thing, is that maybe some new CC or a hack you've downloaded might be causing the crash? The house is completely CC and hack free so I don't know if a conflict would be the problem. Also, make sure you have all the EP's needed. I really hope you can find a solution!

Looks like a good retirement home. (You know what I mean not a hostel, but a small house elderly people 'retire' to.)

Love this house and am using it. But was just wondering if anyone else is getting the appearance of the basement being flooded? The sims living in it don't seem to notice at all but it confuses the heck out of me. =P

This is a very common thing that happens with houses with basements. It has to do with the water table in the neighborhood. Just move the house to higher ground in the 'hood, and the blue in the basement will disappear.
