This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.

I have gotten so much use out of TSS it's not even funny. From the clothes and hair to the objects, I think it's an all-around great SP. I really loved the one of the new guy outfits, the one with the flipped-up collared jacket for the guys. I also thought it would be great to have it as a separate top. So, here it is.

Included are two meshes, one is for adults, and one for teens. Not every recolor works for both. I got a little carried away thinking ahead that I didn't save my original PSDs to use for teens as well. But the good thing is that the UV mapping is the same for both tops that if you like a recolor for the adult, you can use it for teens as well. Or vice versa. There are 12 recolors total.

The meshes are both alpha meshes. They might put a bit more strain on your game, but it saved me from making the textures looking a bit mushed or stretched in some areas.

I admit, I'm a horrible age converter when it comes to aging up. So, with the permission of cloudlessnights, I used her adult-converted mesh as a base for the adult mesh.

Please do recolor the meshes to your hearts content. I love seeing what people can come up with. But please, do not upload my meshes or recolors to any paysite or to The Exchange. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

This was really good, generally people only like either the top, or the pants and this gives people what they want.

Can I just ask what the difference is between a normal mesh and an alpha mesh? I think I've had alpha meshes in my game before and they don't display properly for me.

With alpha meshes, you can edit the alpha bmp (the black and white part) and see through anything not molding to the body. But normal meshes you cannot edit the alphas not molding to the body, it just shows skintone. Sorry, if I may not be clear. I suck at explaining stuff. :D

I understand. You mean that if I took these and changed the alpha to make the arms shorter then I would see the actual arm underneath and not just skin coloured jacket.
I've had trousers that work like this before but at certain angles I could see one leg through the other when I shouldn't have.

Actually, if you edit the alpha of these, you'll just see through the body.

I have noticed an oddity with these jackets--with certain pants, the jacket collar is picking up part of the pants texture (specifically the shoes). See photo here: http://s240.photobucket.com/albums/...nt=Picture8.png

Pants are made by Aikea Guinea. Also, with these pants you can see part of the jacket color on the foot: http://s240.photobucket.com/albums/...t=Picture14.png

Those pants are from All About Style.

Edit: this is the teen version of the jacket, just to be clear.

It's because of some UV mapping overlays. I thought I had mentioned it in the original post, I guess not.

I like the use of the Threadless design to create the purple jacket. That's a really cool idea for the future.

The mesh is pretty useful. I made some recolours with them.

Could you put a separate mesh on download? Because the whole package is a bit too much for my slow-poke computer...
