Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
The Naruyama Springs Inn is a luxurious hotel with an ample garden where you can find old trees, lots of flowers and ponds with waterfalls and a bridge. The hot springs are a perfect place to relax! I built this hotel as another part of my Naruyama-Set (see my downloads for the Naruyama manor!) and it has the same complex pagoda roof that are much more individual than the roofs that came with BV.

There are two different room categories:
-Lotus Rooms (§568-614 per night) and the
-YinYang Suite (§1229 per night) for very pretentious guests

Please tell me if you like it by hitting Thanks or writing a comment :D!

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

Your hotel is a real beauty. - The garden is so realistic and the building is awesome. Wow!This should be featured, I think.

So lush and authentic looking. I adore the landscaping and the exotic hotel sits perfectly within them. I'll have to break out my BV discs and install them now! Thank you.

I haven't downloaded this yet, but I will. You've done a great job on landscaping. It doesn't even look like the sims2 anymore

Very beautiful, makes me think of the Japanese inn I stayed at while I was in Hakone.

I was very happy with this hotel. I went to a community lot, came back, and everything you could get in buy mode was gone(except for things in the kitchen, and things outside). I was disturbed by it, but I brushed it off as a simple glitch that would be fine later.
But it wasn't.
It came for the time for me wanting to check out. But I couldn't, not without a Check in/Check out desk. I tried simply leaving, but the message "We are having trouble trying to check you out. Please try to check out on your own" came up. Now, whenever I would view snapshots or go to the options menu, all the furniture would come back, but I'm unable to click it. When I go to Live mode, it disappears again.
From there, I furthered the problem for myself, which I doubt has anything to do with your lot itself, but I'll tell anyway in case.
I tried changing the lot zoning to community, selling the desk, and buying a new one, then changing the zoning back to hotel(WHILE my family was still checked in). When I tried to get back in to live mode, while it seemed they were there from the outside, when I got in, it acted like I was editing the lot. I have no way of getting my family back now, I think, and I'm rather scared of what would happen if I deleted the lot.

Hmm, that's in fact strange. I also hope that I didn't cause the problem because I tested the lot and everythging was okay...
The only thing I can recommend you is to update your game with the latest BV patch (Only if you don't have a newer EP).
I hope that you can save the family. You could ask in the game help forums here at MTS. Somebody else might know a solution.

Best Regards jon119

I love the inn its gorgeous im planning to change it to a residential lot lol
by the way certain trees just won't stop flashing in blue =\
by the way! im extremely curious, how did you make the roofs from the floor tiles?

Thank you!

Trees flashing blue is an issue of damaged or missing packages. It's hard to solve it from here. If there are only a few of them I'd just replace them with some other trees.
How to build suh roofs is explained here:
