Hi..i was wondering..how do you make a residentual place to a apartment?? i did a condominuim but i don't know how to covert it to an apartment..can ya help me??btw..nice looking house

wow.. sorry this is a super late reply (i've been busy) and i don't know if you still want to know, Or you've already found out but i'll answer anyway
umm.. first enter the lot, open your cheat bar thing (ctrl+shift+c) then type in
"changelotzoning apartmentbase"
it should work, but if you haven't properly built it, it won't. check doors are facing the right way etc. before using the cheat.

after entering the cheat, you will need to exit the lot, then enter it again. Check that instead of a normal mailbox, there is a bigger one with multiple slots.
TAHDAH, your done.

BTW: if you want to edit the lot later on, you'll need to enter the cheat again to change it back into a residential lot, (changelotzoning residential)
and then when you're done, back to the apartmentbase one.

This is really creative. I love apartments that are out of the ordinary. Are you sure the furnishings will be lost? Mine usually aren't and I let my sims rent the furnished apartment. Thanks!
