Interaction with autonomous mod - see section below
I make quite extensive use of "Put Away Leftovers" which was introduced with the Seasons EP. However, I do find myself having to micro-manage my Sims' actions when they "Get Leftovers" since most of my leftovers are in the form of group plates and so food is left out on the side which if not put away again will spoil, thus defeating the object of leftovers. The "Get Leftovers" side of things is made much easier if leftovers are put away as single dishes, but that's also a lot of micro-management at the "Put Away Leftovers" side of things. Wouldn't it be easier if "Put Away Leftovers" of group plates actually put it away as lots of single plates, but with only one direction and without all the to-ing and fro-ing from counter/table to fridge?

If you recognise this problem as something you also do, then this package is for you. This package changes the behaviour of "Put Away Leftovers" when used on a group plate. There are two modes now for group plates as shown below. Once put away the leftovers are stored in the way you chose. You cannot change single plates back into a group plate again. In other words the decision is made at "Put Away" time.

Put Away Leftovers.../As Group Meal
This operates exactly as before, putting the group meal into the fridge as a group meal.

Put Away Leftovers.../As Single Plates
This is the new functionality, this allows you to put away a group meal as the correct number of single plate portions instead.

Expansion Pack Requirements
Leftovers were introduced in Seasons EP. This is why this mod is marked as requiring Seasons. However, the leftovers function was rolled into later EPs after Seasons, so the real EP requirement is Seasons or later. You will know yourself whether you have leftovers capabilities. If you do, you can use this mod, if you don't, you can't.

Autonomy
This mod works with the Autonomous Put Away Leftovers mod. Clearly you cannot autonomously use both the options above, so although both are available on the menu, we have to choose one to be the autonomous action. The current version of this mod chooses the single plates action to be the autonomous one (as I believe you wouldn't bother with this mod if you were happy with putting away group meals as group meals). If anyone wants the alternate behaviour, please post a comment and I will upload an alternate package that has the group meals version as the autonomous action.

This mod clashes with AncientHighway's Autonomous Put Away Leftovers. Please use the this mod or the equivalent mod by BoilingOil which can be found here instead. I don't know of any other mods that this mod clashes with, but there is always the possibility. The pertinent information for the owner of the other object is here.

Cheers
Mog

This will come in real handy with my single sims! Thanks.

I've never been married, but I tell people I'm divorced so they won't think something is wrong with me.

I think this will be great for the game! I often feel troublesome when onlu one sim in the family is hungry but then he has to get a whole dish out and he distribute the big dish into many single ones where no one needs except one person. This is really a very conbient mod. Thank u so much!!

Wow! Thank you! I love putting away leftovers. Especially now that I have the serve eight mod. Having leftovers in the fridge is great for the children because if they are hungry in the middle of the night they can go get something to eat. This mod will take away the need to micro managing to put away all those leftovers. I'm looking forward to using this in my game. So, thanks.

I agree with everyone else, this mod is EXTREMELY useful! Most of the time I direct one of my sims to make a group meal, and everyone else eats the leftovers later without the fuss and muss of creating a meal then. Thanks again, very clever way of not having to put away leftovers all the time!

Brilliant idea! I'm always scared the group meal will spoil when ONE sim takes it out of the fridge. Usually when making a group meal, I make them serve it, and then spend a few sim minutes putting each plate back in the fridge separately. Time saver!!

OMG! I always wished for something like this whenever my sim put a way a group meal. How annoying that they'd take out the entire turkey instead of a plate.

Thank you for this very useful mod-- as always.

I hate when my Sim gets leftovers and then has to put away the 'leftover' plate because she only needed leftovers for herself! Glad someone else knows what I mean.

Thank you very much.

THANK YOU! You've saved my sanity!

Who puts away a meal in a group set in reality, anyhow? This makes much more sense!

It's so annoying having to put away leftovers that are already leftovers... this is the best hack ever

Perfect. I am one of those people who will direct my sims to take a piece of cake, put it down, and put it in the fridge . . . repeat. When I have extra stuff, it always goes into the fridge, but it's always an annoyance to take out a whole platter and put it back minus a plate when all I wanted was the one plate. Thank you.

Thanks so much! This always bothered me! I love the leftovers feature so group meals don't go to waste, but I don't know how many times I've had one sim ruin a whole group meal leftover because I forgot to tell him/her to put it away. But now at least if they spoil their plate, its just one and not six others. :P

OH THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! I was just playing sims tonight and became very irritated w/my sim for the tedious task of putting away leftovers and getting them back out. It's like you were reading my mind! *cheers wildly*
