you installed it by:

1. first extracting the .rar file to a folder or desktop, etc... anywhere where you can easily reach the .sims2pack file that it creates.

2.

Quote:

Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).

3. which should prompt the TS3 launcher, and then start to automatically install itself.

4. you should have a window that pops up and states: Highlandpark{1}.sims2pack Success! Done.

5. click okay, go into the game, and the lot should be in the community lots section.

i've done everything you have said but it still don't show in my game which is very weird all of my other custom lots are in my game apart from the park. in the game launcher it says it's installed but as soon as i go to edit town to place it where i want it it's not there.

hmm... >< i'm not sure of the problem? maybe try delete the file and re-download.

hehe, no the Highland Park that inspired this one is from Rochester, NY

I'm from Rochester, too. And it looks close enough to be it. I recognized it right away! I don't have TS3 yet, but this looks gorgeous!

I'm afraid, there is. Same for me here... I downloaded a bunch of lots yesterday, unzipped 'em in the downloads folder, and installed 'em through the launcher. All good, everything works... except yours. The only difference that I can think of is that yours is the only community lot I installed 'till now, so maybe for community lots there something that works a bit differently?

I've installed Highland, same problem also. I'm running Vista 64, don't know if that helps. BTW, really great looking lot!

i've downloaded this file now about 15 times trying to get it into my game but it's still the same result in not showing up in my game. i am also using vista 64 so by the sound of it it's a vista 64 problem is there anyway you could test it out

I'm afraid not... I still use my old, trusted XP 32... so I guess it shouldn't be related to the usual issues Vista has in terms of access rights to files.

I am on Xp too and the lot simply didn't show up in my game, whereas other lots I have downloaded work fine and appear in the game. It's such a pity, I'd really love to have this park in my game.

I tried to redownload but still it doesn't work.

Hey guys: If you are having game trouble, please don't spam up this thread. Post in the help forums. Have any of you tried deleting the lot and reinstalling? The EA launcher is proving to be worse than TS2 installer. No support in download threads as the download is packaged just fine. Thank you.

I'm worried that my latest Salvation Army donation will result in homeless people looking like sluts from the 90s.

I have tried deleting and reinstalling 5 times....Still does not load, I have tried using just the Installer, and "double-clicking on the lot itself to install-it shows up in folder as installed yet still does not show up. Have you tried installing it yourself?

Like others, this lot doesn't appear available in-game, yet the launcher shows it installed. I tried multiple times to uninstall, re-install, but still no lot in game. I have only experienced this problem one other time with Grimelda's Cemetary off the Exchange.
