Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
This home is my first ever micro homes.

Right now they are a current passion of mine. I may be trying to upload more of them as time goes on.

This one is built with a function in mind while catering to the wants of a sim who loves the outdoors. Infact with the exception of the storage, bath, and small bedroom the rest of the functions of the home are outdoors. From the living area in front to the dining area on the side of the house as well as the covered kitchenette.

This house was made for the sim who wants to live a more simple life.

The best part of a micro home is the ease at which it plays in game. Also the cost of this lot fully furnished comes it at under 14k, which is more then perfect for a single sim starting out, especially one who likes to live alone.

Nearly all of the patterns used in this home are ones that I did just for the house.

This also makes a wonderful design for a small Legacy starter.

Lot Size: 20x30
Lot Price: 12,313 furnished/9,503 unfurnished

Number of bedrooms: 1 Bedroom
Custom Content Included: None
Furnishings: Fully Furnished
Special Flags: Not Applicable

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

Some house for a sim with low expectations! Good choice of textures to make it look worn. Great job.

I think it looks great, but I'm afraid that the outdoor furnishings could be stolen cause that stupid thief already took my telescope from the garden =/

This is *much* better than the 'homes' I built in ts2, which consisted of cattle fencing for walls... well, when they added the weather expansion pack, had to stop... it was too pathetic when they'd get rained or snowed on... not to mention the hypothermia... but I digress.

At any rate, I like this micro house. You say you may upload more and I'd really like to see them. In other words, keep 'em comin'!

Thank you for sharing this!

I have several more uploaded and more on the way. I just built one that was 5k once I got it done, that's furniture and all. Though it's not very pretty cause I didn't mess with CAS at all, I got tired and just declared it done. But I did upload it to sims3.com cause I couldn't beleive it was only 5k.
