So that's what Sims 3 looks like on a really good computer lol. I'm using a laptop and it doesn't look half as good as that.

Hi there, though I have the game running on max quality and the the graphics look really beautiful, it still doesn't look that way. Most of the pictures
have 4 filters (shadow/light, color filter, grain and sharp mask). When playing the game, things on distance get blurry, nice for playing, but less nice for taking pictures. Hope this explains it a bit

nivaso,

please list the Store content used in this lot in post #1. People need to be aware it's not going to be furnished like this if they don't have that installed.

Hi, that's a good point you make, but I think this should be filtered when uploading. On some download sites the store content items are automatically filtered and displayed. The Online Store already contains about 200 store items, so if we have to list every single item, this will cost way too much time. For the moment you could maybe still manage this. But I'm sure that in the comming up months the Online Store will contain hundreds of items, no way to list them all. So I think this should be solved starting with the "source problem", ...How can they improve the upload process? Maybe a good point for Modthesims2?

I agree that in a fantasy world, where we'd have as many coders as we'd like working on the site for free, it would be great if they'd already have whipped up an upload wizard that lists it all for you =D . But, this isn't the case at the moment.

For now, it's the responsibility of every uploader to point out where to get the content that isn't included. Since the game doesn't package anything – store items or user-made CC –, you'll have to either list it, or not use it. You cannot show screenshots of something that's not in the lot, with no indication that it isn't, and no link where to get it.

I know it can be hard to tell, since when you don't install the stuff with the Launcher there's no obvious indication in-game whether or not something is a base game item. Workaround: temporarily remove all your CC, and enter the lot to see what is missing.

Please list the missing items. Your upload will be tagged if you don't.

ETA, just to clarify: I'm not asking that you make a complete list of all the items in the Store! I'm asking for you to point out what is *used in this lot*, like for example "The couch in the bedroom is from the Suchandsuch Set, available in the EA Store, here (with link)". Sorry if that was unclear.

Or--since the amount of furniture should be low at this time--you can go through each buy section and note what has the little green diamond in the corner

daluved1, that icon doesn't show when you install content with a 3rd party tool like 3viewer.

Yes, I can see it by the green diamond . From now on I'll make a list with store content while constructing. But I try to use a less store content as possible. Like just some lamps for e.g.
