This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.

This is what the game missed out on, it's really unfortunate because I personally love these types of fences, I think they look great and hopefully you'll think my recreation of them looks semi-ok

These fences were all cloned off of the 'Outrdoors Sim Stopper from NanoTech Crafters' and of course can be found in the fence catalog.

Below is the information for each of the 3 fences:

Update, now CASTable
ReDownload if you got this before 7th March 2010, they are now FULLY CASTable, 3 channels!

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.

For Package files:

1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

For Sims3Pack files:

1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

These are amazing. So, so much better than what we were given at default. Now I can have a nice fence around my back yard that doesn't look shoddy or imposing! Thank you!

Yesterday I was working on a lot and got frustrated because I could not find a fence that looked right. Today I log on to MTS and what do I see, but the ideal fences I can use. Thank-you so much. I was actually considering bulldozing the lot out of frustration. When I finish the lot I might just dedicate it to you because you saved it from demolition.

Thank you. I've been making half walls to get iron fences on top of brick, these will save me so much time. A definite in my builds

I'm finding it hard to get them downloaded here, this site is playing up, so I'll come over to your own site and get them

The fences are great! As they are not recolorable, I guess: would it be possible to create a "grungy" version of them? Or did anybody do something like that? That would be so wonderful!

Thanks for these, anyway!

Great fences just what this game needs.

Any chance u could make bigger ones like the size of the full sized fences, just an idea coz these would go great in an estate house
