Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
Here is my version of Notre Dame, situated on a 3x4 commercial lot. The interior is partially furnished (e.g., wedding arch and benches) but lacks the base amenities, and so you will have to incorporate them. Enjoy.

*EDIT -- Please DO NOT upload this lot, or any of my other works, to the Exchange and/or any paysites without my consent.

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

Thanks for all of the compliments/feedback. I was recreating Paris and found it lacking without this cathedral. As for the wallpaper, yes, I created them by using old photos.

It must had been a very, very long work to do, and the results are awesome, yes, it is truly a masterpiece. I were too trying to find material to recreate paris, in a XIX century style, and this work is an unexpected and beautiful gift, thanks!

I snatched up La Tour as soon as I saw his download post. He did a terrific job. As far as recreating Paris for my game I've done the Opera House, the Champs Elysees, Arc de Triomphe, Canal St. Martin, and some residences, to name a few. Depending on the response, I may end up posting some of them on here.

Thanks again for all of the responses. I'm glad to read that others are enjoying this lot as well. And en7en, your talented offer of help is more than welcome. I "hear" that you've had a desire to construct a few famous Parisian haunts yourself...

:argh: And I thought your Paris Opera House was you're best lot up to date...much did I know. Thank you so much!

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.
