Medieval Recolors of Basegame Accessories

Here is a collection of basegame accessories recolored to look more appropriate for a themed game. Accessories are not found in the buy mode catalog, but show up randomly in the game when a Sim performs various actions. They aren't normally recolor-able, so these are Default Replacements. By putting these files in your Sims2->Downloads folder these items will automatically appear recolored in your game. To return to the original game accessories, simply remove my files.

This collection includes:

Acne Cream - Was bright bue & white, now neutral tones with parchment label in Simlish.

Burglar Bag - Was black plastic trash bag, now a dirty burlap sack.

Clothes Pile - Was plain looking modern style clothes, now folded mens tunic, leather vest and linen undergarment.

Handcuffs - Was bright, shiny metal, now appears rusty iron.

TV Remote - Now invisible (looks better with those disguised tvs and stereos).

Lighter - Was red and black, now wooden handle with dark iron metal.

Pen - Was obnoxious bright red, now looks like a wooden pencil.

Pizza Box - Was white cardboard, now parchment style.

Ring Box - Was plain black with white satin, now red fabric with gold pattern and linen interior.

Spray Can - Was red/white/yellow and modern looking, now wood and brass.

Fire Extinguisher - Was bright red, now wood and brass.

Repo Gun - Was brightly colored, now neutral metal tone.

I particularly like the pizza box, its actually believable in the medieval hood now. And the invisible remote is an absolute must!

Am I right in assuming that these do not overlap with Almighty Hat's? It doesn't look like they do.

Hi Sophie-David, I am fairly certain that Hat hasn't done any of these items yet in her series. I tried to check her accessories to make sure I didn't duplicate anything she had already accomplished.

Visit these sites for more Medieval downloads: Sunni Designs, Plumb Bob Keep, and The Medieval Smithy.

I have to agree, total awesomeness in not overlapping! I did check myself before I added, and It looks like there's not any duplicates!

Thank you, thank you! You and Hat are my Medieval Replacement Heroes!

I still love my Crumplebottom Nun BTW... She used to annoy me, but now she amuses me when she shows up!

How do you uninstall it? Like when you make a medieval neighbourhood and a modern day neighbourhood and you uninstall it to play the modern and download it again to play the medival?
