Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.

This one has really been one of the most fun sims to make from start to finish! I've always thought that Emily (aka the Corpse Bride) looks a lot like Helena Bonham Carter, so I made the sim resemble her maybe a tad more than the actual puppet. I hope you enjoy, and Happy Halloween!

Well our girl is a beauty known for miles around
When a mysterious stranger came into town
He's plenty good lookin', but down on his cash
And our poor little baby, she fell hard and fast
When her daddy said no, she just couldn't cope
So our lovers came up with a plan to elope..

So they conjured up a plan to meet late at night
They told not a soul, kept the whole thing tight
Now her mother's wedding dress fit like a glove
You don't need much when you're really in love
Except for a few things, or so I'm told
Like the family jewls and a sachel of gold
Then next to the grave yard by the old oak tree
On a dark foggy night at a quarter to three
She was ready to go, but where was he..

Now when she opened her eyes she was dead as dust
Her jewls were missin' and her heart was bust
So she made a vow lyin' under that tree
That she'd wait for her true love to come set her free
Always waiting for someone to ask for her hand
When out of the blue comes this groovy young man
Who vows forever to be by her side
And that's the story of our own corpse bride

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the sim to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sim file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\SavedSims folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game, enter Create-a-Sim, and save a sim to the sim bin to create this folder, rather than doing so manually. After that you can close the game and put the .sim file in SavedSims
4. Once the .sim file is in SavedSims, you can load the game, and look for your sim in the premade sims bin in Create-a-Sim.

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

EEEE! I was just thinking I needed her in my game, and there she is!
All we need now is a pesky maggot poking out of her eyes every now and then :P

Thanks Arisuka :D

Hello everyone, i'm sort of new to this whole Sims 3 mod thingy. Anyhow I was just hoping to catch some feedback from some of you on how to get this particualr mod to use in my game. So far the only mods i've been able to get to work are clothing meshes and pre-loaded houses. I have already downloaded the 2 files it mentions above in the download tab. However, I don't see Emily's face and body mesh anywhere in my create a sim workshop at the start. I don't even see the dress she is pictured with in the above photos. The only thing I think I have is the color skin she has. The download tab also mentions something about it requires a mesh to work properly, but when I went there I saw nothing of that nature to download. If anyone can give advice as to how to get the rest of the mod i'd appreciate it. You can send me and email on this database or leave a reply on this forum. I'll check them both in a day or two. Thanks again.

You know I've linked the dress, and mentioned the further instructions on how to find that specific dress from the site.. And I would strongly suggest that you read this and this .
