Shiftable Cabinets

What this mod does
This fix will allow you to shift all wall cabinets by EA (EP/SP only) up/down the wall, as well as make them go down with walls. This fix also lets you shift island cabinets up/down, but they don't hide when walls down (see pic to see why I left them like this). The wall cabinet corner pieces also shift.

That window in the middle of the wall is one from the BauHaus set from the store and placed to give you an idea of the wall cabinet heights.

How to shift
When placing keep the left mouse button pressed after it snaps to the wall, then move your mouse forward/backward to slide up/down. Otherwise you can also use ; and ' to shift. Using the ALT key while shifting allows you to shift off grid, so each height doesn't snap to a specific height.

Design Idea with Island Cabinets

Cheats are not necessary as long as the cabinets don't have their bounding boxes overlapping. Pic shown above is done without cheats, if you want to remove the small gap between them then you need to use moveobjects on.

This mod alters the OBJD resource of the cabinets and will conflict with any other mod that also alters this resource.

Additional Notes
*I may or may not do store cabinets once school is done. If I do they will be added to this post and I will post an update in the comments.
*I just noticed my pic of base cabinets shows the country one twice rather than both. Both are shiftable though and included in the fix.
*When placing wall cabinets first and shifting them, the base cabinets snap to a set height below them but jump to floor level once you let go of the mouse.

Super practical mod for hiding those stubborn cabinets, and would ofc be super if we got the new ones too :3

I see that the file for pets is up, and while they do shift, they dont seem to go down with the walls?

Forgot I had this...don't use cabinets all that often. Will you be updating for all the other expansions? I finally got some non fugly cabinets. there one for non ea; cc cabinets?

Hello. I'm sorry if my English isn't good enough. This mod is amazing. I have always been playing The Sims 3 without using the kitchen cabinets because they were always in in the way so I am very grateful to the creator of this mod. I am just a new member of the community even though I have been reading for a long time now, but as I am so new I'm embarrassed to ask if it would be possible to update this mod to include the cabinets from Into the Future Expansion Pack. Would it be that still possible? I see now most people play The Sims 4, but still I love The Sims 3.

Hello, again. I am sorry to be annoying but I just realised that when I have the mod working there is an object that it cannot be placed. It's that one in the cabinet section that it isn't actually a cabinet, but just some pans hanging from a rack in the ceiling. When the mod is not on, you can place the object with the pans, but when the mod is in the mod folder, then you cannot place them anyware because there is a red square (obviously you can with moveobjects on, but I mean like normally). Just to inform. Thank you again for this mod.
