This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.
Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
Introduction
So, what's the point? Well, I dislike the selection of flat beards Maxis have given us. I wanted to spice them up a bit, make them look more realistic.

Contents
The .rar contains 4 beards:

- The Face Badger
A nice patch of hair on the chin, perfect for those wanting to grow a garden!

- The Chin Warmer
Pretty much the same as the Face Badger, except with more sides.

- The Short Badger
Your sim has hair growth problems or slipped with the razor? No problem, there's a shorter variant.

- The Spikey Badger
Your sim is just too cool for a basic face garden! So this one is spiked up a bit to make him look more menacing! Or cool.

Where I do find beards please?
They should be in young adult and adult males beard options. Sorry, no female option for your circus simmies!

Bin Type: Unbinned
Maxis Flags: Not Applicable

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.

For Package files:

1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

For Sims3Pack files:

1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

Thanks I really like these, and more beards is never a bad thing

Not really wild about you calling the people who may want a beard on a sim girl 'sickos' tho.... People are different. No none said you had to cater to people who like things you don't. But no one said you get to call them names either.

I'll change it. Obviously people cannot take a joke these days! It was approved after all.

I understood it was joke on your part but I don't think name calling is ever a joke really. Your supposed to speak up when someone says something that you think could be potentially bullying. Even if it is 'only' online, and even if the characteristic that is being singled out for ridicule is not one you personally posses.

That said, humour is one of the hardest things to get through to people when you only have text as your medium, and no facial expressions and body language. Also, humour is individual, what one person finds gun another may find stupid, and vice versa. This doesn't mean either of them is a boring person with no sense of humour, it just means they find different things funny.

Okay, I had a problem with these.

I have Kittyklans default replacements. I really doubt that has anything to do with this problem, but it might, so I'll throw in that information anyway.

So, when I put these into my game, they all show up as the exact same beard, basically, the basegame beard they're based on.

Nice job!
The female version would've be so much fun to play with, but to be honest I'd use these more. Thanks again!

Just got the Supernatural EP and was wondering if this mod is compatible. I know it's compatible with all others up until this one.
