Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
I'm not a big fan of very modern homes, mostly because they tend often feel so... cold and weirdly all surgery-room like... So for this home, I tried to make it warm and home-y, but also very modern and trendy!

This spacious, open home is great for couples who want to start a family life but also want to maintain their trendy groove with busy career and social sides to their lives!

The big windows take the most out of natural light and surrounding nature, making the line between the outdoors and indoors fade. The master bedroom has it's own peaceful wing, with big windows offering wonderful views, and the other two bedrooms are located on their own floor with it's own bathroom, for enough space for every family member. The other one of the separate bedrooms also has a balcony, perfect for teens who wants some of their own privacy! Also, in the living room you'll find four empty shelves, where to put those space rocks and drama club trophies!

The outdoor area invites to spend a chilly autumn evening by the fire, an upscale charity dinner, a hot summer afternoon chilling by the pool, a fun get-together with friends, a game of gnub with the family...

No CC used.

Hanging coats from AMB unlocked by Whiterider

The lot uses some objects from AMB, but the lot will function perfectly without AMB as the objects used from it were laundry objects, hanging coat decorative, kitchen bar stools and drafting table.
The firewood decorative and the decorative bowl require WA to show up.

Lot size: 50x50

Price Furnished: 317,845

Price Unfurnished: 174,314

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

Wow, this looks fabulous! I do like modern homes, but I agree, they can often look too sterile. You really know how to balance clean lines with warm tones, something that's often easier said than done (I know, because I can't do it well!). Thanks for uploading this; can't wait to add it to my game! Oh, and by the way, I thought it was really clever how you made the hanging fire coats look like regular, everyday coats in your last upload.

ETA: Just wanted to say this looks just as good, if not better, in game as it does in the pics! I love the pergola/gazebo by the pool; it's really amazing how you can build such creative houses without CC. Seriously, that ain't easy to do!

I'm a big fan of modern homes, but only if they're cozy as well, and you've struck a good combination of the two here! Very nice!

I love the double high dining/kitchen! Wonderful idea, and a nice use of an accent color. Very nice home.

This is probably the best house I've ever downloaded from here. And definitely not sterile in any sense. Cozy but modern. Wonderful work!

I cannot WAIT to move my sims into this house. I'm always seduced by modern homes but end up having to remodel them to make them look more inviting. I won't have to do any remodeling with this one! Thank you!

i love your house - i just moved into it last night..a few minor changes tho. I shortened the pool - it was too loing : ) and added a kennel near the back by the waterfall for my rednose and bluenose pitbulls. this house is awesome open space and lots of room for refurbishing : )

symcrap It's my world that I've been working on since spring. After I've got Pets and are able to put some stuff from it into my world, I'll be making a CFF thread where you'll be able to follow the rest of the process of this world closely.
