Presenting the perfect garden - containing all the plants you need from base-game to University!

I am really grateful for past creators who have made these community gardens. They got my sims through many generations. However, Supernatural and University added a TON of new plants, and I wanted to add those as well. So I have created my own version of the community garden.

This lot contains four of every plantable ingredient, vegetable, fruit, or herb in the game with the EXCEPTION of four: the Death Plant (harvest it once and it's dead, quality is useless), the Money Tree (because you can't eat it or plant it), the Omni plant (can't get a perfect version of it anyway), and the new Forbidden Fruit from University (doesn't work on community lots as far as I can tell). Everything else has been painstakingly cultivated and landscaped by one hapless fairy.

The plants are organized by the type of plant. There is an area for coffee beans, for magic plants such as the life fruit and flame fruit, herbs, a covered area for mushrooms, one for grapes, etc. The lot is very peaceful and includes a pond for fishing, two chess sets, an easel, and a snow cone machine. There are also two bathrooms so that your sims don't pee themselves as they spend 48 hours harvesting all of the ingredients.

This lot is larger than previous community gardens. It is 40x40. I realize that this is big, but it is that way for a couple of reasons. First of all, it is basically impossible after the last couple of expansions to fit all of the plants on a 20x30 lot. Secondly, I'm pretty sure we can all expect the next few expansion packs to add around seven-hundred new plants, and I wanted room to expand in the future.

Store Content Recommended but not Included: Al Fresco Street Market. This set includes a lemon tree and purple eggplant. I have made spaces for these items and have included them in the screenshots, but they are NOT included in the download. You'll have to perfect those ones yourself.

There is no custom content in this download. All objects are created using the base game and several expansion packs. This download DOES require University, but there isn't an option to put that in the download requirements as of yet.

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

He explained that it doesn't.

My question is: won't the plants just die eventually?

Plants on community lots won't die. And they usually keep (re)growing and growing fruits. So if you harvest one, the next time you'll show up, it might have fruits again.

I made a perfect garden for personal use. It includes the Forbidden Fruit, but when I placed my garden in a new neighbourhood, I found out that the Forbidden Fruit can't be harvested. I have no idea why. They're at the harvest stage, but the option to harvest is grey. So I think it can't be done. Maybe Maxis designed it that way, to make it harder, IDK.
What I do to get a Forbidden Fruit is have a sim become skilled in Science and then analyse the Forbidden Fruit in my garden. They'll get a sample of it, which you can clone in the Science machine.

I didn't download it, because I have my own . But I thanked anyway, because like you, I used to download other people's versions and couldn't live without them.

This is an attractive garden and I like the design.

I used to spend hours making all-perfect community gardens, too, and updating them for each expansion using a tireless, blooming fairy. Then, I found Two-Foot Mama's gardening mod at Naughty Sims Asylum, which allows you to simply place totally perfect, mature plants directly from buydebug. I think she has updated the mod through University now. Gawd, I wish I had found that earlier.

Thank you so much for this! I've had a heck of a time getting all the coffee beans and it's been driving me up the wall. It's a great bonus that the lot looks so pretty too.

If I had known that mod existed I probably wouldn't have made this =P. Oh well!

Also, I forgot to add that the lot does not include death fruit, because you harvest it once and it's gone.

The problem i have with lots like this is deer turning up and eating the plants
why cant ya plant the money tree? never had the issue with one before
the forbidden fruit wont work here because its needed on a residential lot to become a baby plant sim. (to get your own seed tho just splice any plant on science station and get lucky)

nice idea tho for us that don't like to use mod/debug to buy stuff

I always find it handy to take a sim with a few tents and place them and leave them there for garden lots

Unless I'm utterly blind - I swear I just spent 10 minutes looking at every planet on this lot - the apple tree is missing.

To anyone without an expac, you can still use this. The plants that you do not own the right pack for will just not appear.

Even without the apple tree though, this lot is lovely. And there's enough room on it to place a couple bee keeping boxes and clear out some of the decorative trees and put down an arboretum.

I've just been playing this lot and noted the same thing. It's still awesome, but a bit disappointing that the apple tree is missing.

However, now I know about the Naughty Sims Asylum mod, I'm not that bothered!
