Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.

Elixir Consignment Shop + Gypsy Wagon
All on one lot... and all work.

Lily Dale, New York, is quite real. It is a quaint community known as quite the clairvoyant hub.
It is home to mediums and mysticism, and people travel from all over to hear their fortunes [or, refund please!,... misfortunes].
And so, it inspired me to build this lot.

This community lot has the Gypsy Wagon map tag.
However, if you click on the elixir shop building, you can visit it and partake of all the lot's beauty and mysteries.

On the Grounds:
Zoomsweeper Broom Arena
Beekeeping Boxes
Barbeque/Picnic Areas
Sleeping Bags
Alchemy Spawners [gem, insect]

Inside the Shop:
Alchemy Stations
Gem-U-Cut Machines

Oh yeah... the mini python and iguana may need fed (2nd floor of Elixir Shop).
With a barbeque grill and sleeping bags on site, you don't have to go home and you can stay here.

Shhh. There is a top secret bookcase door to access the basement, and gadzoinks! yes!, it is backwards.
Due to an EA glitch with the Supernatural EP Bookcase Door, you'll have to make one little adjustment.
For the door to work, please turn it around in Buy/Build Mode (not to be done via Edit Town Mode!).
shift+click>Buy or Build on this lot>turn the bookcase door around That's it!
The door should be fine when you return to Live Mode.

Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

What a beautiful little house and garden. I love the colors and the layout of the house. You put so much work into details and did an amazing job.

I wish I was a sim so I could stroll around in the garden and visit the elixir consignment store or gypsy wagon. *sighs*

I greatly appreciate all of your comments.

It's such a pretty little community, julechristine.
The tourists that place attracts is incredible, though I don't think they're going to see the scenery.

I wish I were a Sim too, Yogi-Tea. Motherlode motherlode motherlode. And to change outfits and hair and makeup so fast. Resetting oneself. Oh dear, just sign me up already!

Motherlode, huh? You're quite clever. I just thought of strolling around the beautiful garden of your lot. *lol*

This is a great lot and as bonus my sims can go get fortune told or use the broom arena without me having to create a separate lot-- because I hate decorating lots.

I only have two issues: my sims can't seem to turn the mysterious shelving door-- *scratches head* The second is Hetty Lionheart's cats seem to randomly show up in AP and cause route failing-- it's hilarious and I wonder what their attraction to that lot is? ^_^

Moon Jaguar- please check out the notes about the secret bookcase door in the overview
About Hetty's cats... I never encountered that problem personally and nobody who play-tested reported this situation.
By AP, do you mean the elixir store? Is there a specific spot where the cats linger?

Whoops, sorry for my incoherence. I meant to say when I placed your lot in Appaloosa Plains (AP), Hetty's cats started hanging around. They're mainly hunting behind the store but sometimes they follow sims around. And of course sims can't walk around a sleeping or sitting cat, they have to do the route fail flail! ^_^. It's no biggy though, I just thought it was funny that they gravitate to your lot like that.

Ohhhhhh, I see. Sounds like Hetty's got quite a posse in tow.
Maybe those kitties are familiars? Glad that you got the door working.

This lot has a little too much clutter for me, personally. I also received ErrorTrap errors for the moon dial.

I share what I make. I know that I can't please everyone, lydiad206.
Twallan is aware of the Error Trap/moon dial situation. The moon dial is an in-game item that has an issue that EA was supposed to fix.

I love this lot. It's so wonderfully decorated. It's my go to elixir consignment store.

My only comment is that you have to be careful of rotating it when placing, due to EA's spawner multiplication bug.

It doesn't work for me. Ever since its installation my game freezes when it gets to the end of the green loading bar.
