Love it =) I don't have much outerwear for kids, so this will be a great addition to the game.

One question. What is the file with no file type that is included? It's called [Eltanin]CoatDress and has no file type.

I like these better than my original coats! Nice job. (I didn't even know "droat" was a word. It makes sense, though! )

I hear you about the meshing. I still feel like pulling out my hair from time to time (though it's usually for fat morphs and alpha layers). You should've seen me when I was learning. It involved a lot of whining and trashing files in disgust. And that was just to build a working mesh package!

Whoops! That must be my mesh edit I attempted for this outfit, didn't realize I packed it in there. It doesn't work, or do anything really so putting it in game shouldn't harm anything.
You can just trash it if you'd like though, sorry for the confusion!

Haha, I'm pretty sure Droat isn't an official word (maybe it is in some foreign country) more of a self proclaimed official word

Grr I know, getting the file to actually show up was such a pain my sister had to stop me from throwing my computer out the window. I'm trying again though, reading different tutorials to see if they do something differently. I really hope it works this time, I'd love to be such a great mesh creator like yourself

It is pretty perfect for my game, when it comes to cute (or at leats decent) outerwear I have close to none. My little girls surely will approve of your colour choice. There's something in there for everyone of them, the cute and the plain and the dorky. Thank you for sharing. And don't let those meshes get to you, they will learn to submit to you soon enough

I know what you mean, great outerwear is hard to come by, but even then I wouldn't classify these "droats" as great. So glad you like them
Don't you worry, I'm not giving up on meshing just yet. I think I have a few more plans of action up my sleeve.

The tutorials on this site are pretty good. They're what I used (though I learned before they were updated, and back then there were some extra steps... so more places to get tripped up!). The updated tutorials should be pretty easy to follow. The first one is here. But you've probably already tried it.

The tutorial I usually recommend for learning how to make an alpha mesh (like the wool coat) is by CatOfEvilGenius and you can find that one here. But you should probably wait to tackle that until after you can make basic meshes without attacking your computer.

Good luck!

These are beautiful! They're a little bit retro, too, which only adds to their charm. My lucky little Sim girls will be warm and cute all at once! Thank you, so much!

I forgot to say that I hope you don't give up on meshing, because you make really great stuff as it is and I can only imagine what you could do with your own meshes. I'd love to see this in an actual coat-version with buttons all the way down

I've got rid of that paysite mesh banner, since the mesh is free.
