Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
These are default texture overrides for the four base game eyeshadows plus a separate download for the Ambitions two-channel eyeshadow (requires that pack). I have also enabled more categories (martial arts, firefighting, skinny dipping towel, outerwear, and pregnancy). Available to male/female teen through elder.

The only change in appearance is that the color no longer covers the underside of the eyelid (as shown in screenshots). It bugged me enough to fix it--hopefully others will find it useful too. I have included custom thumbnails to make it obvious that these are installed.

Creators: I made a template you can download and use to fix eyeshadow, liner, etc.

Update 9/24/13
Added fixes for Supernatural and 70s, 80s, & 90s Stuff

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.

For Package files:

1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

For Sims3Pack files:

1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

I don't have that pack, but if they need to be fixed I wouldn't mind. Someone would have to extract the files with S3PE and send them to me though.

Thanks for the positive feedback everyone. Glad to know I'm not the only one who was bothered by this. I will be posting fixes for the 70s, 80s, & 90s stuff pack soon, thanks to the heads-up from SakuraKonekoChan.

i also want to point out that the last expansion Into the Future comes with new eyeshadow and makeup too and there's a very very good chance those will probably also need to be fixed.

"small" improvement - HUGE effect! Thank you very much
@ marieruth skarletqueenkats fix for the ambitions eyeshadow isnt longer needed when downloading the ambitions file HERE. the eyeshadow is anabled for career outfits too plus having the alspha fixed!

edit: @TheSimSariah
choose the files for the basegame and the expansion packs you have. putting the others into your mods folder wont actually harm your game but they would be of no use at all (cause there is nothing they could fix).
