Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
Driftwood is a three bedroom, 2.5 bath base game home with no custom content. You could call it basic. The open concept kitchen, dining, and living room offer lots of space for Sims to socialize. You also have a double bedroom downstairs with private bath so if you move in a single Sim, he or she won't have to bother with the upstairs if he or she doesn't want to, although, there is a large balcony upstairs suitable for stargazing. The jacuzzi is built on a foundation to give the impression of modernness and hipness instead of just being built on flat ground which gives the impression of ordinariness. I hope this becomes the home of a happy Sim family.

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

This looks great, thanks. I'll probably redo the inside but the outside is something I wish I could do. Lovely!

Catherine! Thanks for commenting. I like how the hot tub looks, but, you have to go up one floor to see it, so I'm not sure if people will like it. I hope you're busy building and not taking my high scores.

Many thanks lorinsv60! The front is what I most enjoy building, followed by living rooms, dining rooms, and then the rest I'm not as crazy about.

Thanks so much Fergus. I know how simmers love modern, but I really prefer old country houses, especially English. This was fun though, except base game is so repetitious.

Yes, please redecorate. I was hoping people would customize it since base game is a bit limited! Thanks so much for commenting!

Hi loloakour! Do you mean where to find it in your game? After clicking on download, be sure you save the file in EAGames, Sims2, Downloads folder. Right click on the file and chose Extract here. In a couple of seconds a sims2pack with the file name will appear. Double left click on it and the game installer will open. Click install. Start the game and you should find the house in your lots and houses catalog in the neighborhood screen. Hope this helps!
