All new! Grand Opening September 2015. Park Flats ~ enjoy getting back to nature - while living in the big city! Now, I know this isn't the only apartment building with a park on it's roof... But, it is one of the only parks with an apartment under it! That's right, folks, Park Flats uses new energy efficient berm style building, which keeps the cool and/or heat inside, where you want it. I've heard it said that one can never have enough parks in the 'hood. Well now, here's a new park, just for you

Take a look at the floorplan below - these two studio flats pack a lot of living area into a slick, compact space.
The apartments feature: a powder room at the base of the winding stairs, a computer/tech nook under the stairs, a full gourmet kitchen, dining area, bar, living area, sleeping area and another full bathroom in the far corner. Everything your sim will need to live comfortably is included - art, entertainment, communications, and skill building items - including a small gardening area in the 'park'.

Please take a look through all the pictures. Your sim will love to call this place home
Just to be clear: Both apartments are furnished. They are EXACTLY the same; just mirrored of each other.
There is a trick to renting a furnished apartment - click the spoiler button below (copied from simswiki)

NOTE: A copy of this lot was playtested; however, no sim has ever set foot on the property you will download.

Necessary, and NOT included - GO get them:
Numenor's Unlevel Wall - #90 (only necessary if walls are missing - it means I used the unlevel wall instead of "CFE" while building. If walls are missing, exit without saving and add Numenor's Unlevel Wall to your DL folder before loading this house again)
And, I highly recommend:
Menaceman's Lunatech Lighting Fix

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).

I've thought about making something like this, but didn't think the foundations would look nice. You did a good job with this though, hiding the foundation well. It's something different for a change. For some reason, the windows look particularly good.

Are both apartments furnished? The topdown image, to me, shows the right furnished, the left unfurnished. The Guidelines state that apartments must be furnished with the basics for a sim to survive with.

Want a specific style of house or community building? Why not take a look at my profile and see what I build and then come ask me to make it!

I apologize because I must have overlooked it, but I don't see where the retail part is. I didn't know that apartments alone were classified as retail. It is a very nice space to live in for the Sims though, "Thank you"!

I love this one. It is going to look pretty somewhere in my hood (I don't play apartments, but I have to have this one :)) Really charming and irresistible.

@KarenLorraine - Yes! They are both fully furnished and exactly the same - I thought I put that in the description (if not, I will!) I took the pictures in 'live' mode so, the other apartments furnishings are not rendered by the game. The lights are out over there too *sigh* Silly EAxis

@HeartDeco - No need to "apologize" I was kinda surprised to see apts included too, when I first read the monthly theme. But, there it is: "All things retail is the perfect theme for community lots, apartments, careers,..." That's why I made this particular apartment to easily fit in to a busy retail-district. Every downtown needs lots of parks! IMHO

This duplex looked intriguing. And I will admit I wanted to see how you made a garden apartment. Thanks.
