Novigan Community Park - For Families

This is my redo of the Appaloosa Plains 'Cat Park' (hence the odd lot size). I never liked the dedicated pets parks in this town because they often weren't made with sims in mind, but their pets. My Novigan Park has pet activities, but also caters to a wide variety of sim activities too. This lot is always heavily populated in my town (particularly the sand box!), and I find it a great addition to any town where you want a central gathering location, or if you want some of the Seasons activities, but without having to have the seasonal festival. There are summer and spring activities here (football goal and horseshoes), as well as roller skating and the all weather snowball and water balloon fighting fences. There are fishing spawners, wildflower, seed and small animal spawners. There are also 2 pet beds, bowls, cat scratchers and dog chew toys available to keep pets busy, as well as a horse watering vat.

Generations, Pets and Seasons are required for this download as most of the activities available are from this pack.

Note: Town Life stuff is used, the item will be replaced with an item from Generations if you do not have that stuff pack.

Note: Island Paradise is used for the exterior lamps, one Spring Rider and one of the flowers in the park so if you don't have this expansion pack, the lot can be placed, but these items will be replaced.

I hope you enjoy this park, it's served me well and serves my playstyle well, so I hope it helps you. It's well landscaped so perfect for photos for story-telling and just a generally great locale for your sims family to visit!

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

What were you thinking, EA? Anyway thanks!

Yeah, I never understood the pet specific parks from a 'practical' point of view, though I understand why they put them in the Pets town. Thanks! Hope you enjoy the park as much as I have!
