Here is the second installment of the Modern Suburbia series.

UPDATE: With the light bamboo flooring, you may notice that the environment needs significantly drop. Here is a link to fix this issue:

Replacing the light bamboo flooring fixes the issue as well.

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

Wow! I love it! (And usually I'm not overly fond of the modern style of houses, so that's saying a lot)

Very nice. I think I'll decorate it in retro-1950's style. Keep up the great work!

Awesome house, love it!
Just one thing I've noticed: whenever my sims are in the main hall the ambience need drops significantly! And I've already looked everywhere to see if there's no smelly green fumes around but everything is clean. Am I the only one experiencing this? :s

Huh. That is very strange...I am not sure what would cause that. The house was built in AGS. I took pictures in my main game but didn't upload those lots. Anyone else who experiences this let me know.

Hope this isn't too late..but I'm experiencing the same problem! The environment goes all the way down. I've tried adding so many decorative items that are rated 10...but still no luck. I love this house however I had to stop playing it for that very reason.

So weird! Let me do some checking to see if I can figure out what the heck is going on!

Unfortunately I am at a loss as to what would cause this weird drop in environment. I hope this does not happen in other lots I have built. I haven't experienced that when I played these lots.

Everyone,

There is a fix to the issue in the main post. Please let me know if that does not work. I will avoid using Light Bamboo flooring in the future

I also had the environment go very low. I replaced the flooring and it was all ok. The Sims hated the floor whatever it was.
