Compatible with v1.44.77.1220 - No update needed

This mod unlocks the 10 locked lot traits that are included with City Living. 3 of them you may not be familiar with, as they normally go unused. You'll be able to add and remove them from any lot you wish, including apartments that have been pre-assigned these traits. Please do note that there's a good reason why most of these traits were locked in the first place...

The following traits do absolutely nothing. They're just for flavor text.
- Cheap
- Lively Neighbors
- Low Deposit
- Quiet

All of the below traits also do absolutely nothing, as their "effects" are in fact produced by specific objects that are normally hidden in the catalog. You can reveal them in the catalog with a mod such as "Moveable/Buyable City Living Apartment Objects" by NikNak513.
- Great View
Requires special windows that generate the "Great View" moodlet
- Historical
Requires unmoveable plaque
- Needs TLC
Requires utility box, leaky pipes, mouse hole, roaches, and leaky drain.
- Romantic Fireplace
Requires unmoveable fireplace

These traits do actually have effects.
- Pricey
This one provides a constant positive moodlet for all residents on the lot.
- Serviced Apartment
Provides a free recurring maid service.

For a future version of this mod, I'm considering adding some actual effects to the useless traits so that they're all useful. I've got some ideas in mind already. But hey, at least for now you can remove them from the pre-made lots if you want to. Do note that certain functionality (e.g. apartment problems) won't actually change if the associated objects are still on the lot.

This mod modifies the following resources and will conflict with any other mod that edits the same:

Correct me, if I'm wrong, but couldn't we already do this? "Low Deposit," is the only one I don't recall seeing, when I added, and/or removed traits, to apartment AND house lots, right after I installed CL.

Does Quiet work on apartments? I know that's one I've been dying for since my neighbors always disrupt my sims sleep.

Some premade apartments have the locked traits, but it's not possible to change or remove them, or add them to other lots with a mod to unlock them.

Does this allow us to remove these traits from the apartment lots? I am curious. This was a very big reason I refused to play with CL.

It doesn't do that automatically, I think you need to go to build mode in vacant house and remove it.
If we could remove it.

That's a good idea, and I will try to get around it soon.

What is the correlation between the Needs TLC trait and the actual objects (pipes, mice, etc)? Like do they only break down/spawn critters if the trait is present, or do those things happen regardless and the trait is just flavor text?

The trait is literally just flavor text. Everything is handled by the objects themselves, and you can create a fully functioning "Needs TLC" lot simply by placing all the relevant objects.
