Inspired by the application foundation provided in a recent contest , I decided to make a small series of newlywed starter homes, all under 25k with the same guidelines as the contest.

This home has:
  • 2 bedrooms (master and nursery).
  • 1 full bathroom.
  • Fire alarm, burglar alarm, and phone.
  • Nursery with skill toys and furniture to use as a toddler.
  • No TV on the lot! However, darts, chess, axe throwing and a hydroponic garden are provided.
  • Six garden plots and a small fishing pond to help live off the land.
  • Minimal landscaping to keep the cost inside rather than outside!
  • Chairs outside to read that new edition of the Nature magazine.

No CC was used, but all EPs/SPs are installed.

The extracted binoculars on the dresser in the master bedroom are NOT included to keep this CC free.
You can however download them here: CiJ for Skell from Keoni

Lot Size: 3x2
Lot Price (furnished): 24999

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

I am sure to dream up a survivalist couple for this cabin with a little camo clad wee one to liven up the place. Thanks so much for continuing the series. LOL

Simply great! On the first picture of this lot I thought "Goodness, she made a dark shack!". But when I checked all the pictures, I was really thrilled by this nice lot, furnished in light wood. As Liz already mentioned, the kitchen area is really cute, as well as the nursery, the bath and the outdoors (I love the pond). Thank you so much for it and don't forget: we've never got enough from your lots!

Cute lot, inside and out
I don't recognize the piece of furniture with the bottles on the bottom at the end of the kitchen area. Is that from an EP? I really like it.

@atymer
Haha, I had that in mind actually when I built this. I'll probably move my Bigfoot family into this one when he finds a lost little girl in the woods and "takes her in" as his daughter.
You're so welcome, and I'm glad you're enjoying these!

@BrittaMA - Haha, I picked the darker wood this time just to be a tad different and "blend in" for the wooded area. Thank you for always mentioning what you like most. It helps me know what stands out to those who download them. I have more 25k ones coming, so I hope you find a few more you like.

@lorinsv60 - Thanks for the compliment, I appreciate it! That would be the Sweetening Fruit Nectar Bar that comes with Freetime. It comes in light and medium wood originally, but I'm sure there are plenty recolors floating around (especially some by Michelle). I hope this helps!

@Justpetro - Awwww, thank you! I appreciate the comment and compliment. I know I mentioned putting a Bigfoot in this one, but... I think city slickers that yearn for a simpler life may work too!

I love love love this home! It is absolutely adorable. The outside totally matches the feel of the inside as well. I love the nursery rug in this one as well. Very cute and colorful! I never really thought about using a cabin style home, but as you mentioned and others mentioned, it would be great for a Bigfoot or a nature Sim. I can't wait to use this home in game. Thanks again!

@SapphireSunrise - Thank you! I love making custom rugs now, it's a great money saver! I hope your Nature Sim/Bigfoot have many happy hours here. I should probably do another cabin at some point.
