This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.

While trying to make Christmas Cookies I made these two harvestables. I love Ginger ( since it forms an integral part of our cuisine) and everybody loves peppermint!

Mod Description

Adds 2 custom Harvestables to the game -
1. Ginger
2. Peppermint

Ginger

------ They can be found under 'Misc Appliances' . [ Search for 'Ginger' the search bar for easy access]
------ Cost - Ginger = 15 simoleons
------ Can be planted and harvested
------ Ginger is tagged as a veggie , so can be eaten raw or used in recipes which require Veggies as a cooking ingredient. (Custom recipes to come very soon)

------ Eating Ginger will give a +1 Inspired moodlet - 'Gingivial Ginger!'

------ Can be sold using City Living Craft sales table
------ Toddler compatible (aka toddlers can eat the harvestable, play with the plant)
------ Pets Compatible
------ Growing season : All Seasons
------ Cannot be planted in freezing temps

Peppermint

----- They can be found under 'Misc Appliances' . [ Search for 'Peppermint' the search bar for easy access]
------ Cost - Peppermint = 8 simoleons
------ Can be planted and harvested
------ Ginger is tagged as a herb , so can be eaten raw or used in recipes which require herb as a cooking ingredient. (Custom recipes to come very soon)

------ Eating Peppermint will give a +1 Energized moodlet - 'Minty Fresh!!'

------ Can be sold using City Living Craft sales table
------ Toddler compatible (aka toddlers can eat the harvestable, play with the plant)
------ Pets Compatible
----- Growing season : Winter and Spring
----- Can be planted in freezing temps

Troubleshooting

If the Plants do not become harvestable : -
1. Make sure , you are on the latest patch
2. Plant the fruit/veggie/herb and not the plant/bush from debug
3. Re-plant if plant takes to long to go into harvestable mode
4. Use Debug Gardening Interaction made visible by me to check for harvestables
5. If the harvestable is small then, use the mod Debug Gardening Interaction made visible by me to 'Grow plant (+50)' a couple of times to take the plant to fully mature/blossoming stage (Harvestable is small if the plant is not fully mature)
OR
Use No Tiny Harvestables by LITTLEMSSAM if you want the harvestables to be the same size always

Requirement : Base game compatible

Made with Game Version PC Version 1.37.35.1010

Conflicts: Should not conflict with any other mod

Hi Icemunmun! Is there a way I can edit your Peppermint in S4S to be buyable? It's the only harvestable of yours that isn't buyable. Just for immersion sake, since I have all of my Sims go grocery shopping on a regular basis, I wanted them to be able to buy it at my custom grocery store, instead of from Buy/Build mode.

Hmm...there is no reason it should not be buyable like the others. Maybe because its tagged as a herb. You can add the tag 'Func_Ingredient_Veggie' to the object catalogue of the Peppermint.

I fixed it. "Func_Stalls_Produce_Grocery". Now if I can figure out how to add the City Living spices to the grocery list, I'll be all set.

It'would be cool to give the ginger and or peppermint anti-nausea properties for sick and pregnant sims. Or barring that create a food or herbalism recipe(tea for either, ginger ale, peppermint candies) that uses them and is anti-nausea in it's effect.
