Thanks everyone, the truth is I'm thinking of dropping Nintendo and finish the serie with one or two retro Konomi charcters which is what I wanted to do for a while.

And some info about Krystal: She's a girl that Fox wants to save in SFA (in a very Zelda style). She's to original owner of the magical staff Fox in Dinosaur Planet and she's the one who teaches him how to use it (why didn't he take his blaster with him??). In the end of the game she joins the team.

I have never beat that game. Have had it since it fist came out. Is that sad or what?? LOL :haha:

Kinda sad though. I think Assault will be the last Star Fox game made. I've played every SF game and beat everyone, and Assault was the worst one i've played. I got about half way through the game and wondered what I did to deserve this. The storyline made little to no sense and the situations were that of a 1950's action film. And to top it on the AI acted as if it rides the short bus to school. The game didn't have a tactical side other than they threw limitless enemies at you. I think they wanted to make a game like Max Payne 2 but with more "established" characters.

You know the whole love story with bitchin action scenes. Wish someone told nintendo there was a reason why real film noir movies died out. Coulda also helped if someone told 3D Realms the samething. I thought the whole damsel in distress thing in Adventures was an old weak outdated concept but I was wrong wasn't I. Why is it that every action game is basically the same 2 things? Either some woman is sooooo weak she can't protect herself and the big strong male has to save her OR and entire army can't stop something but 1 guy can?

Sadly my suggestion would be to either go back to Star Fox 64 (my fave) or even Adventures and start over. Its an action game............screw the love story and cheesey labido humor. Nintendo should play a few Duke Nukem or Doom games before they make another Star Fox to see what a good game is. Hey HALO could even be a great base for Star Fox.

Look, the one man army worked for Duke Nukem, Doom, and HALO because the story and character background allowed it. Duke was a smart ass ladies man. The game wasn't really about tactics more than it was funny. Doom had the whole horror and tactical advantage of dark rooms and sneaky monsters. Then HALO was about some genetic thing that wore enough armor to stop a laser, but even Master Chief used regular Marines as backup.

Well thats it for my rant. Waiting for something to download so I had the time to rant.

Oh man...it was that bad??!!! That sucks!! But I feel you 100%. I have hardly touched my console systems in a minute. Enjoy playing MMORPG and the sims more than anything these days. I think its mainly what you said also...its all the same thing practically. Big stud saves the helpless girl! Or Solid Snake Rambo & his sidekick Link from the Town of Hyrule is off the defeat a force an entire Army could not stop. Some games, its pretty cool. Others...are just played out. City of Heroes & World of Warcraft...I love those because it takes an army of almost 20 to 30 Ppl to kill a Dragon. Not 1 person with 1 lucky shot. :skull:

Oh No...Now I am ranting...LOL, sorry. But I do agree with you.

The original Star Fox for the SNES was the best SF game ever made :3

I might bust out one or two Rumble Roses characters eventually, but I do have other things on my agenda right now.

I love this! Krystal's my absolute favorite Starfox character!

On the other subject, I, too, will miss your anime/video game Sims. They were very well done.

Nicely done, thunderbreak! I really liked how she came out.

I haven't played that many games that came out this year. I have found my copy of Castlevania SOTN and started playing that again. Yeah, the cliches need to stop coming in abundance. And for some odd reason I like playing as female characters if they are readily accessible and I am a guy. Actually, I remember in Elevator Action 2 that the stongest character was a woman.

The only games that I am playing these days involves scrolling arrows that scroll up the screen while you step on the corresponding arrow to "dance", use 5-7 keys and a turn table to complete music to the best of your abilities, and use 5 or 9 big dome buttons (about the size of the palm of your hand) to complete music. I am talking about DDR and Pump It Up, beatmania series, and pop'nmusic. Out of the 4 popn has OD'ed on cuteness, but I'm not complaining.

I am too making Konami characters, but they are from beatmania and pop N music and they are for my use only. I am doing the "mascot" of beatmania by the name of Tran w/ her evil counterpart as well as the covergirls of Popn Mimi and Nyami. All of them aren't going so well as they are pretty unique in appearance. And of course Mimi and Nyami are furries (Mimi's a bunny and Nyami is a kitty). I might do a how to create guide, but some outfits I used came from The Sims Resource.

The only old school Konami games that come to mind are Contra, Teenaged Mutant Ninja Turtles (back when those games were actually good instead of the crappy games now), Twin Bee, and Castlevania. I do hope that it's Pastel (the girl) from Twin Bee as one of the characters you are doing (once again I prefer to use Pastel/Win Bee than Light/Twin Bee).

I've finished some projects that would go well with your Sim version of Krystal. Do you mind if I were to post them?

I just thought (someone else may have said this but I missed it if so, sorry if it's a repeat), but there are some fox meshes that would work wonderful with your clothing designs.

http://genensims.com/skins/furry_03.htm

There are also fox tail, and fox ear meshes there as well!

I adore your sim btw! Just thought I'd share, in case you were looking for that truly foxy look!

lol she already uses the fox ears and tail meshes. Those skins wouldn't quite work. If you wanted to make a real looking Krystal you would need to find a furr pattern with the stomache, legs, and face pathes. If you check my creations my furry skin would be the closest thing i've seen. There is a really good fox skin called "Kitsune" that I got from the exchange that i'm trying to convert to multiple color patterns.

Black and brown, red and black, orange and white, blue and white, etc, but the skin is so detailed PS is having a hard time getting the pattern correct.

I just think we should cook and eat all the PETA people.

She needs to look more like Krystal-she's good, but she lacks the fur and black nose.Without the fur and black nose, she just looks like a lady with a blue tail attached and blue painted on her.
