I'm glad you all like it. One of the biggest complaints myself and wife have was there was no 'in theme' television (if you can have it intheme) for medieval or victorian type period neighborhoods, so this was my take on an alternative

Flash5000: This was made entirely with MilkShape and SimPE. I messed with UVMapper briefly but it seemed to map the groups incorrectly so relied on eye and a little trial and error - which ended up being a single texture to my surprise.

Should have added in the initial post, you are all welcome to recolor this as needed/required, however you can not include this or any recolors created on any PAY sites - I made it free to the community, it will remain free to the community and I'd love to see your recolors, and please - credit where credit is due

EDIT: Like to give a special thanks to Numenor for his help in pointing me in the right direction when it came to getting this item placed on tables. Certainly got me thinking and digging deeper into how object placement works - thanks heaps.

Yay! This totally fills the need for a tv that will fit in with the medieval/magical creations of TS2 players. There are a lot of wonderful items out there being created for this type of play, and yours will fit in wonderfully. Very creative, nice job for your first item, and greatly appreciated, thank you!

Thank you Calidan, it's great to have more objects for the less modern Sims!

I'm a medieval Simmer and I've always had the trouble with using replacements for television, it seems Sims rely heavily on tv for entertainment. So I'm willing to try anything these days to see what works best (or should I say what looks best) I have a crystal ball type TV but even it looks strange in a medieval castle well to me anyways.

Now only need something to replace the video game player!!! I mean whats tv w/out the games?

This looks great and many thanks!!

Please note the 2nd Edit added to the initial post which started this thread.

Please stay tuned for an updated package once I have this problem rectified

I have included an updated/fixed package. This simply allows the tv to be placed on the ground and once there can be sold/deleted normally.

This object uses a different GUID than the original and as such should not clash with it ingame just delete it from your downloads in preference for the _fix version.
