Wow! You are sooo creative!!!! What a great idea! Good call, seeing the hand and foot movements from the piano, and thinking "sewing machine." This is great!

Question: The write-up describes the files cokenasmilesewbase, cokenasmilesewingEP, and cokenasmileUNIsew, but there is another file named cokenasmilesewstation. What is this one? Is it for base game or EPs? It has the most downloads, but does that mean it's the best, or the oldest? I'm not sure which one to download. I have all expansion packs.

Idea: It would be cool if you made a pie menu that said "Sew..." and then another one popped up with the options "Clothes... / Curtains" With the "Clothes" option clicked, you would bring up the shopping screen so you could pick which outfit you wanted to make. After you were finished, you could decide to add it to your wardrobe, or sell it for $$$ (kind of like when you finish a painting). With the Curtains option, the Buy Mode screen would come up in the Curtains category (all other categories would be greyed out) and you could pick which curtain you wanted to sew. After you were finished, you again could decide whether to add it to your inventory, or sell it for $$$. Well, this sounds pretty complicated, but I thought it would be a cool idea. Monique coded that cool computer that does everything under the sun (shopping online, etc) maybe you could use the same kind of coding in order to get the the shopping screen.

Again, fantastic work! It must have taken you ages! Thank you so much for making this for us and sharing it on MTS2!

amy, the file you are asking about is the first one I posted and it needs EP's and has crap for shadows and yet I left it in case someone liked it better... *shrugs* And yes, those are very good ideas, and some people have suggested similar things before. I may at some point come back to this, but I am kinda tired of it after having to go back and make so many versions already. I am already working on a quilt frame similar to the painting easel, totally different mesh and yet different sellable quilts as skill increases, though I am still a long ways out on this project. If I get it to work and like it, I will probably revisit the sewing machines.

Thanks for the quick reply! Good luck on your quilt frame. It sounds like it will be pretty neat. Love the idea of different quality of quilts as skill increases! Keep up the good (great) work!

Hi, I was just wondering if a sim has max creative skills, is there a way they could get money?

Sorry pink_alchemist, but once they max skills, no, they cannot gain money with this item.

This has been a joy to use with so many of my sims, but most especially with my recent fashion-obssessed salon owner. It's a truly terrific creation. Thank you so much for it.

This was a great idea, but for some reason froze my entire game. At first i didn't know that it was the sewing machine, but when isomething popped up on my game, it said error: runtime38 and there were 3 options. Cancel, delete, and reset. I tried to cancel and reset, but it kept popping back up, so I deleted. Next time I tried to enter it in the game, it wouldn't work. Any ideas, plz PM me!

This is really good but when I tried it the cheaper verstion broke and my sims could no longer move. Whe I sold it it worked again. The more expasive one works fine.

There is a falt with the cheaper verstion. When you get it do not get the cheap one. Get the pricy ones. They work. I am not sure why but the other one just freeze untill you delete them from the household.

Otherwise it is really rockin!
