My grandfather worked in the Railroad. He has passed now and I look forward to creating a sim to go through this career with his name. I am just now installing it and am really curious if you made uniforms for it.

Hey! I have a question for you. How come nothing like this idea has ever been done for SIMS4???

In addition to being into SIMS4, I am also a lifelong rail buff and a fan of Trainz Railroad Simulator which is another computer game created by an Australian company formerly known as Auran. I would like to see a mod that could combine certain elements of the latter into SIMS.

Just to dream a little here at the keyboard, what if SIMs could travel between the worlds by train? That's actually having a lot functioning as a station to where trains would actually arrive and depart from? And what if there were portals on each world to where tracks could go? What if at each portal the trains could disappear and appear in the next World. What if the order of each World could be determined by a timetable? What if at each station, Sims could buy train tickets at according to a variable fare depending on the World where they want to go? What if Sims could actually board trains and get off when they have arrived at their destination. What if other sims could come to the station to see them off or be waiting at the destination when they arrive.

What if Sims and their businesses could ship freight to other Worlds again via rail. What if there were a career mod allowing the Railroad to sort of function as a UPS actually delivering/picking up shipments? , As railroads themselves actually did long before there ever was was a UPS
And what if, as part of Twisted Mexi's upcoming for public release Create A World mod, we could place railroads as part of it>

OK, I am kind of dreaming kind of big here but even so, what if?

In surfing around, I find this idea is not brand new (https://psychosim.livejournal.com/tag/railway) and yet none of these ideas seem to have never made it to SIMS3 and SIMS4 And I wonder why. Is there a reason?
