just to let everyone know, the mesh you need is on the bottom of page 3 on xmsims, not the one on page 6

But are you sure the hair mesh is in page 6 now? In my game they doesn't work. ;[

Like Bouncyjoeymonkey said, the hair mesh is on page 3 of XMSims now (thank you!), specifically here: http://www.xmsims.com/sims2/ehtm/hair/hair03.htm -- it is the bottom one on the page; "Sue-XMS_Hair006_051211_Mesh"

If it is showing up as maxis hair in your game, that means that you haven't got the correct mesh. Hopefully it works now. ^^ Good luck.

Using this hair myself for a while and it works. No crashes in bodyshop or CAS. If you wonder about colours; well, what you see is what you get. So you get the hair in 4 colours, standard maxis one, no io and no pooklet. And yes, it is colour binned, so blonde can be found under the blonde group, brown to brown, black to black and red to red. Since it is long hair it does clip to clothing with turtleneck or a hoodie. As far as i know there is never a conversion made for the sims 3, though there is something similar for that one. This hair is ts2 only. Oh and the mesh is still available, still at the bottom of page 3 on xmsims. You need Sue XMS Hair006 051211 mesh. It is a file of 124 kB. You need exactly that one, otherwise it won't work.
