This might not be the prettiest house on the block, but if you're looking for something fully functional and fairly ergonomic for a starting 8-sim household, then this is the perfect choice!

It comes fully furnished with all the living and skill-building essentials, safety features (phone, fire & burglar alarms), and enough meal & bed space for everyone. There's even a rec room and plenty of yard space for expansion. NL owners can place a driveway. And it's perfectly affordable at the low low price of $19999!

Made with the basegame and without any custom content or hacks, so anyone can use this. Lot size is 2x3. Tested for gameplay with 8 adult sims (and I am able to maintain them so far without cheating). It's really easy to play -- no need for tedious room-searching or floor switching!

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

You are right about it not being the prettiest on the block, but as hard as I try, I can't find anything actually 'wrong' with it. High marks in my book. Congrats!

and with eight-person families, they usually make enough money fairly quickly to fix up the place once they are in it. thanks!

Thanks for the comments! I wasn't really expecting this to be popular, as I've seen more beautiful starter homes, so it's nice to see several people taking interest with the concept.

Great Job on the house. I love this house cause it is so functional. I don't really go for how pretty the house is just how functional and easy it can be for a family. Thanks

Thanks for this! I think it's great as it is, and I know that my family will love it! Like others have said, it's not easy to find large houses that are practical and look nice or at least realistic. This house fits this criteria.

Ooh, this is a very good idea. I like the layout, although it looks a bit crowded at first.
