The only one in that that was un-Maxis-like in the genetic settings was Emerald, since each eye is separate, that would be the only one you would need to remove.

and by the way..u dont think u might do some bigger ones??
Nope, the size bugged me WAY too much, but this is the closest to 'realism' I'll prolly ever get in any of my creations.

(yes i like brown eyes) maybee? some like runs in my family (genetic flaw i think) light blue bottom (like cerulean or maybee azure, but a little greyer) and dark brown speckles (rather big dotty things) in them, i know you said you dont do mixes and maybee it would look completely nutty in the game, im not an artist i wouldnt know.
I'll try a brown-blue color, 'Pine' looks green on the top and brown on the bottom, maybe I can get the same thing to work for blue.

by the way. my favorite is chestnut but i think i would like a lighter version, sort of ember? Not yellow or orange,,,but a more lighter, orangeish brown?
I'll give that a shot too. I was thinking about orange and yellow earlier when the requests had seemed to die, but it didn't really dawn on me to do them as browns.

Ok people, thats 15! Hopefully I'll be able to get pretty close to what everyone wanted! Just a heads up, I'm thinking some of these colors might overlap each other, in which case I'll just fill in with my own ideas. Its Friday, around noon. They should be ready for download sometime on Sunday (but don't hold me to that, sometimes moderation takes longer than expected!)

Blue-gray, Green-Gray-Brown, Light Gold, Pink, Red, Green-Light Blue, Black, Amber-yellow, Green-Yellow, Pink-Yellow, Purple/Blue-Green, Green-Blue Glow, Brown-Light Blue, Light Chestnut, Brown

hallo there..i realised today that you hade a page 2 going....i thought i had offended you in some way oh well
so maxis are not aware of genetics i assume too bad, and also that shows how little i used maxis blue eyes
oh well you have lots of other blue and green eyes, so ill stick to them thank you for the explanation.
now im off to rub myself in the new set i saw in downloads....hoping for amber to be as i think (or better !)

Actually, I did a bit of research before I committed to the Maxis genetics, apparently its not just a straight this is dominant over that. Brown is dominant over blue and green, and blue is dominant over green. I think Maxis just wanted to simplify it so thats what they ended up with.

Oh my god. You are brilliant! I've downloaded all 3 sets and deleted all the other custom eyes I have. I love the look of the maxis eyes, but there are only 5 colors! These are great!
