This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
Hi everyone. Tonight I bring you some stained glass arches that were requested by delldude. I wanted to make them base game compatible, so they will not connect like those from University EP, but rather as independent pieces that you'll need to place and connect yourself. No cheats needed for correct placement, just plop and change direction for the pieces as needed.

There are four pieces, the column (found udner columns) and two arches of slightly different sizes that let you create arches with 3 and 4 tiles span between the columns. Also, the four tiles one can be extended as much as you like with a 1 tile extension piece. Both arches and extension piece are found under decorative/miscellaneous in the buy catalogue.
Hope you like them. Enjoy!

Polygon Counts:
Column - 290 polys
Big Arch - 380 polys
Small Arch - 308 polys
Extension piece - 184 polys

Additional Credits:
Many thanks to Echo for the doormat carpet which I used to clone the arches from.
Made with SimPE, Wings3D, Paint Shop Pro, UV mapper

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

I think they should be, haven't tried it though.

Charming. I appreciate that they are not the Maxis arching columns -- those can go so wonky on their connecting when you get overly creative. Plus the available spans for these will make them fit so many decorating needs.

Thank you.

These are beautiful! And I love that you chose to make them modular, which is perfect for some ideas that I have. Thank you

Wow. Your stained glass arches are looking great.

Update: July 2009-I am back now to make invisible and tranparent recolors again in sims 2. You can pm me if you want your objects to be invisible and transparent from now.

This is such a great idea! You really are such a forward thinking creator. I'm in awe of you!! These items are so versatile and much more useful than the automatic columns in the game which never really sim to fit what I need them for. :b And they're beautiful too! Thanks!!

Is there any chance to get these to be like the Univerity Arches? If not that's alright they are still lovely! Xoxoxoxo
