I truly appreciate all the hard work you do on all of your sets and the effort that goes in to making the sets complete. I love the fact that you go to the trouble of naming each and every file, too. It is always such a pleasure to see new uploads from you.

Thank you so very much,

Debra

I was looking for some basic walls with maxis wood paneling and moldings that I like. I was afraid I was going to have to make some myself. Thanks for all the trouble. this is certainly a must-have!

BTW, I love all of your walls and floors.

[Edit] I can't extract the collection file or more than 18 walls with white wood. With the other sets I got 36 walls each. Perhaps there is something wrong with the last 2 files???

I just downloaded them all, and tested the two you had issues with, and my archive program says that they`re fine. Judging from the file size of the archive for the white wood, I`d say that you`re supposed to have fewer walls in it.

I'm not sure how many walls are supposed to be in each zip. I've downloaded the last 2 multiple times and they do not extract properly 'cause I get an error message. I used WinRAR and then alzip and both programs give me errors for these files. So, I don't know.

::SHRUG:: Try downloading them again? Also, what error message, as exactly as you can provide it?

Edit: I just counted the number of files in MTS2_dimsim78_718301_dimsim78_WhiteWood_Painted_Walls_Set03.zip, and my copy, which tests out without errors, has eighteen files inside a subdirectory. Do your extractors handle subdirectories in archives?

I believe so. I've been using WinRAR for all my sims downloads and I download a lot. Usually, if there is an issue I just have to redownload and try again. That always works. Don't know why this doesn't.

Here is the error message:

! Cannot create dimsim78-Painted-Walls-AssortedWoodTrims-Set03-COLLECTION_FILE\dimsim78-PaintedWalls-AssortedWoodTrims-Set03-COLLECTION.package
Total path and file name length must not exceed 260 characters
! The system cannot find the path specified.

Ah! I understand.
Extract the archive to the ROOT DIRECTORY of your hard drive, then MOVE the resulting directory into your EA/Sims download directory. The relavent part is "Total path and file name length must not exceed 260 characters". You may also have to rename some files or directories to reduce the total length of the full path-and-file name for The Sims 2 to access it successfully.

Let me know if this helps, or if you need more help, ok?
