If anyone is still interested in making this into a sub-neighborhood, here`s how:

1. Download everything seperately, except the neighborhood archive itself.
2. Use the SC4 terrain to generate a new sub-neighborhood of the desired type.
3. Using the map posted in the first post as a guide, place all of the lots in the correct places.
4. Place any neighborhood decorations as needed.

This is only this easy because himawara106 posted everything needed to recreate the neighborhood. Without the SC4 file, this would not be possible. Without the lots as seperate downloads, one would have to move all of the lots into the lot bin from the installed complete neighborhood, which is still possible anyway.

Hi GeneralOperationsDirector - thank you very much for your help on making a sub-neigbhorhood! People who are interested in it, will much appreciate it as I do!

Glad to be of service! I made that method up off the top of my head when I saw that someone wanted that, and all the parts were available.

Please note that I have not actually tested this method personally, but all the steps are logicaly complete, and you have included all of the required ingredients.

For what it is worth, the same method will also work for creating an entirely new neighborhood, for people who already have a conflicting neighborhood and don`t know how to renumber one. They just have to create the new neighborhood as a base neighborhood instead of a sub neighborhood.

Personally, I cannot use this, as I lack the requisite expansions. I appreciate you making the custom content available for use in our own efforts, though. Most lot creators do not bother, and I do not like cluttering up my downloads directory with anonomous CC files.

Sad. This crashes my game. When I took the hood out, it loaded fine.

I downloaded the N106 file and the SC4. I installed both to the correct directory. I've installed hoods before without issue, and I have several by Plasticbox.

I have all EP's up to BV, so I've no idea why. I did not install the cc one since I don't want any o that.

@HugeLunatic:
Sorry, that it does not work for you. It works on both of my installations fine and I didn't get such a feedback yet, so it should be good for others too.
Maybe there are hacks in your game that cause this? Or do you have a neigbourhood with that name already? Maybe you should install the cc too. But when you don't like it and don't install it, the neighbourhood would not show up like it does - sorry.

But you can copy the SC4 files in the correct folder and the houses that you like from each of the posts and place them in the hood. But I don't know how this works out, when you don't download the cc. It should be replaced by maxis stuff normally. (that's only an idea)

Thanks himawara, I did not have any conflicts with hood numbers. I have no idea what the conflict was at the time, but I have tried again with a clear dl folder, since I'm in the middle of testing new content. And it now works! If I find the source of the conflict I will let you know. I don't see how it could have been a hack conflict because Insim is about the only I use.

I was beginning to wonder if there was a conflict with AnygameStarter hoods/houses with Mac's. But there doesn't seem to be.

But the layout is quite awesome, nice and small.

This is well thought out and presented to downloaders beautifully. The added touch of the lots being available for download individually in the comments section was an extra special touch. Thank you for sharing!

Now that I *do* have all of the prerequisite expansions installed, I am downloading this, and will [eventually] be using my own instructions to create a suitable subneighborhood. Thank you, Gracias, Domo Arrigato, Danke Shoen, Merci Boucoup, et al.
