Thanks for making this set.

I've asked this in the forums before, but didn't get an answer that mades sense to me. How do you prevent townies from using certain clothes? Can you do it without having to hide the clothes?

There may be a way to do that, but if so, I'm not aware of it. :/ Suggest you do a search for 'property set' in the modding section of the site; if someone has posted that information, that is the likeliest way you'd find it.

Thanks for this! I wanted to hide the duplicate hairs from AL and this saved me time from rummaging throught the property sets.

1. Run the game
2. At the neighborhood screen, type CTRL+Shift+C to open the cheat console
3. Type exactly as follows: boolprop testingCheatsEnabled true
4. Hit Enter
5. Hold down Shift+N while clicking and loading CAS

You will now get a tooltip popup over each item in the CAS catalog when you hover the mouse over the thumbnail. Each one will have a name, something along the lines of 'afbodydresssummer_tropical'.

6. Find the items you want to leave unhidden and write down their names. When finished, close the game.
7. Download my hider file(s) and open in SimPE. In the Resource List pane on the right, you will see the Property Set names for each hidden item.
8. Find the names of the items you wrote down in the file, right-click each one and choose Delete, then save the file.

This should unhide the CAS items you want.

Hi! Thank you for all these hider.
I've re-installed a clean sims 2, with every EP and no downloads, and add only the hider done by Jordi and you for every EP. But some Original Game, Seasons and OFB clothes & hairs are still there.
Could you help me? I don't have found any good answer to my trouble on the social forums or the commentaries of the hider on MTS2.

Thanks again for this nice mod. Do you think you can make a mode for kitchen and bath? Bravo to you & have a nice day.

AL's stuff was so annoying - you could really think of how Sims 3 would gonna be. 10 times the same hairstyle - just with different color of the hair ties. Also: Why should I see the witches' hats?
I'm so glad I've found your hider! Finally I'm also rid of the most annoying maxis things.
Thanks for creating and sharing!

I know this is an old upload and hasn't been commented on in 4 years, but I thought I'd make a note of this in case anyone's having trouble. I've been putting all the hiders I use in EA Games\The Sims 2 Apartment Life\TSData\Res\Catalog\Bins, and they all function properly when put there EXCEPT these. However, I DID get them to work by putting them in my Downloads folder instead (and just to be sure they're in a subfolder starting with "zzz" so they load last.)
