Of all the Hogwarts Castle's I've downloaded, this one is my favorite. Mainly because of your attention to detail with all the different classrooms. I remember going into it for the first time and thinking, "omg! There's the divination room, and potions!" I hated the wood siding you put on it though, XD, bricked over all of that really quickly.

I tried making it into dorms by making separate bedrooms with the common rooms, but having 8 Hogwarts students to keep track of in that huge castle was too much for me. Instead I tried making each common room/bedroom area an apartment. That way I could play just the Gryffindors, or just the Ravenclaws without all the insanity, and still have the other students present. Only problem was, the Hufflepuff and Slytherin commons rooms didn't register as apartments. Even though I made sure the apartment door was the only way in and out of their area, it seems that there can only be one apartment per "building", which really sucks.

I've think I may have resolved this by building two little 4x4 tile "apartments" in the back and sticking them out in the grounds. The characters will still be around, and when I play with them I can just have them sleep in their common rooms, regardless of where their apartment actually is.

Anyways, thank you so much for giving me a great Hogwarts to use!

caty_simmi - don't be sad, I think that it will work for you, cause you only don't have Pets and M&G
You don't need all eps and sps for lots to work, just those that are really necessary. If you don't have on, two or three, you will just miss objects from those games, everything else will work
So, just download it and install it in your downloads folder, I'm sure that it will work for you

I plan to use this with the simlogical school set to make a Hogwarts for my teens. For those that are not familiar, this is not a set of furniture, but a way to have school in a residential lot.

Can I use this even if I don't have Appartment Life EP? I have all the other EP's but that one isn't available where I live, I checked everywhere :'(
Great work though :D
I could also take your Base Game Hogwarts of course, but I really like this one because of the amazing furniture you put in them

I'm not simply writing a thanks because I came back to download custom content, and realized the stairs you are using -- their download link -- are no longer working. I managed to get the downloads from google cache... I am sure you kept the links up to honor the creators, but since this one page has no notice against redistribution, I am going to upload here the archives I was able to download. I saw no authoring information on the page, so unfortunately I can put up no credits...
Maybe you should add the staircase to the lot package now.
The google cache page (not sure how long this will survive).

Thank you for all your hard work. :lovestruc
Are the floating staircases needed to make the main stairs work? When I tried to play the lot, my sims weren't able to walk up to the top of the main stairs, so I added a few floor squares on each floor to widen the stairway in a few places and that fixed the issue.
I also added the ascension lift from the kitchen to the middle of the Great Hall to make getting food from the kitchen easier.
Like others, I plan to make edits to the lot to turn it into a dorm.

I couldn't stay away from my Sims, they help my creative side come out! Taking a break from my RV life to take care of family issues, so Sims helps me to unwind. Let me know what you are up to with your Sims so I can check it out!

Sadly, the Sims Graveyard site (both links) is down at the moment (or for good, for all I know) and I haven't been able to find the mesh anywhere else.
