Default Many thanks . . .
Thanks not only for the neat house, but also for the explanations and information about how some of the new game features work. Really is nice to see someone helping out with a new game.

Thanks All! I'm glad you like! I never built any starters for Sims 2 with all the money cheats! But, since we are back to the basics I do plan on doing more starters!

Default Thanks
The house looks great. They didn't have enough starter homes for small families that were affordable.

I just wanted to thank you for giving us the two starter homes... the game really didn't ship with enough that weren't atrocious like the trailers. And after making three starter homes I didn't have it in me to build any more!

I agree starter homes are lacking! I am trying to build different styles for everyones taste! I have 3 starters out now and one with a basement in moderation. I hope to keep finding inspiration for more! If someone has a suggestion please PM me and I will see what I can do!

Thanks for all the great feedback!

just so you know the kaching and motherlode cheats still work in sims 3, so really we are not without money cheats. btw I really like your starter homes, saves me from attempting to build a house on my own.

Great job on this (and your other starter homes), I love how creative you were while still keeping it under a starter budget. :]

I noticed something weird with it though, it always seems to sit just below the lot level, even on the lot you originally built it on in Riverview. Not really a big deal, just wondering if there's maybe a way to fix it.

I will have to look at it! I haven't moved it to another lot so I had no idea it was doing something strange.

Ok I went in and tested several different lots. The only ones that sink in are the ones that I built on that lot! All the other lots sat down perfect even at 35 Hidden Grove Lane. I tried my 2 Hidden Grove lots even in Sunset and they sank there also! Needless to say I will not be building on that lot again!

I am still looking for a solution!

Someone else has had the same problem with a different lot! I hope this isn't sign what we can expect from the lots.

But I am not giving up! If I have to rebuild I will. I have went in and checked and it doesn't seem to affect the game play or access to the lot so that is a bonus! But I don't like how it looks!

Ok I believe the new upload should have this problem fixed. Please let me know if you have any problems with the new one.
