Oh my. This is stunning! All the time and effort you must have put into it! I look at places like this and remember why I don't bother building houses. LOL! Very beautiful and detailed!

To be honest, I started by building the steps at the front of the chateau. I also left myself with little room for the chateau after making the frontage so sparse; the house turned out all right in end, but I had hoped it would look more regal and chateau-like as opposed to a large mansion. After completing that, I realised there would be no where to park cars. I could have added space somewhere, but it would have defaced the shape I was trying to achieve. I figured that the owners would be rich and no doubt have a limousine to chauffeur them around; additionally, they would probably purchase the surrounding land for other edifices.

When I moved my family in, I improvised by placing parking-spaces between the statues at the front. Not practical, but it works. They can also keep cars in their inventory without the need for a parking-space.

Won't work?
Okay I've downloaded this mansion (which is amazing by the way!) and I can't find it in my house library on sims 3. Can somebody please help me fix this before I erase it from my folder?
(its in the Packages file in Documents/Electronic Arts/Sims 3/Mods btw)

Thanks!

I must say, I have NO patience for building castles. I can't possibly imagine how much time this must have taken you. And it looks WONDERFUL! It is exactly what I was looking for I love it.

I'm too lazy to build a small house, but you've just created a enormous mansion. I want to thank you for your time and wonderful creation.

I wish I could download this (mostly because of my recent obsession with French architecture!!!) but I don't think my game could handle it
