Actually, when I made the top part of the home (the short wall), the ceiling tiles stayed in place and that's what makes it look like the roof is floating. I have no idea on fixing that, but I did this because my roofs don't appear in my game (glitch).

The roof is floating because you used CFE. It's TS3's way of punishing you for trying to think outside the box, and not actually -make- a box.

Thanks. I thought other users were trying this way, but then I noticed this floating thing. What does CFE mean?

"Constrain Floor Elevation". There is a thread about it here.

Anyway, it is a nice house & not your fault that the ceiling is floating.

Oh yeah. I did use CFE. Anyways, thanks Oh yeah, I didn't learn the corner tile thing with keyboard short cuts. Now I just use the wall and deleting a corner, lol.

actually, there is a way to prevent hanging ceiling problem..
that is, to let the half walls stay "open"
just try it, delete a half wall that makes up a room and let it be an open area..
If it's difficult to understand then have a look at my house (Aquamarine)
I'm using half walls there, but without the hanging ceiling..

EDIT:looks like someone else already posted it here

It also doesn't occur if you do a very slight slope to the roof, though that can drastically change the look in ways you may not like.

It's so annoying.
