My inspiration to build this house was slovic folklore and some photos from internet, I also remember some funny song from my childhood, in this song baba yaga's house was hut on hen's leg:D

Gah I love this! Back in the day when I was in Middle School band we played excerpts from Modest Musorgsky's "Pictures at an Exhibition" and Baba Yaga's song was my favorite!

Baba Yaga it's russian fictional character from fairy tails. Yes she is a which, bad bad which lol I didn't know that she's 'famous' out of USSR borders! lol that's so cool!

I really love the look of this lot so yesterday I loaded it into my game, and for some reason the ground flashed blue when I entered the lot for the first time. After leaving the lot, it continued to flash in the neighbourhood view. I think something doesn't like the terrain paints, although I'm clueless as to what's going on with it - no other custom terrains I have behave in this manner. :/ Have you ever experienced an issue like this?

As I said, I love this house so it would be a shame if I can only enjoy it via your screenshots.

This is really awesome but i downloaded it and the floor of the lot is flashing black and blue just like the above users

Floor or ground? I don't have any problem with these terrains, everything' ok. Maybe they are no compatible with some EP... Only solution is -cover the ground with other terrain paints and delete all terrain paints connected with this house .
Do you have CEP installed?

Yes, I have CEP.
I tried covering the ground with a different, non-custom paint - it didn't stop the flashing, but then I didn't really have high hopes of it being successful... I'll do as you suggested and remove the affected terrains. Small price to pay as long as I get to use this house. :P

I'd never heard of this fairytale until I read up on the Baba Yaga house in Belladonna cove. The maxis version of this is pretty good, but you've gone to a lot of effort here (you haven't just sprayed the chicken feet on!), and this is soooo much better than the EA version. Thanks

Its from Quest For Glory an DOS based computer, i wish they didnt lock up so bad on windows or i would still play them, she was in the first and 4th installments of quest for glory. I see you also included the skull that make snide comments to you before you approach the hut.

That is a really good job you did creating this! I love the chicken legs and the landscaping is a perfect setting. I'm glad you thought to make the swamp, it goes so well with the hut. Thanks and keep up the good work!

This is just wonderful! The whole look of it is so convincing, you included all the CC so we don't have to hunt it down, and I love the organic, dilapidated style of it - it absolutely looks like the sort of place where a few decades ago some old, weird women lived and had everyone a bit scared of her. Just the place where poor medieval Sims or Apocalypse survivors can feel appropriately miserable in. Thanks very much!
