I love it! Having a slot for the table is great, and with an invisible 'magisplay' tray, I can really clutter it up. Thanks!

Thank you for this beautiful set!

I do have one question. I have already used this in a couple different houses with no issues. However, in the house I am currently building, I can't get the "tables" for this set to hold anything. The table pieces show as normal, but I can't place lamps or any decorative items on them. They just sit on the floor and, depending on height, stick up slightly through the table. Doesn't matter where in the house or on the lot I configure them.

Has anyone else had this issue? Is there any obvious reason this should be happening? I find it odd given that they work just fine on other lots.

Well, that is very strange....is there anything special about the house? It can't be the game set up because you say they work fine on other lots in your game. I did NOT test these on a stage now that I think about it - is that it?

You could also try cycling through the slots with the M key - that might work.

Fantastic! Cycling with M made it work.

This was not placed on a stage. What was so strange is this lot was like any other I've used the set in, built on a foundation, dug out basement (although the couch set is on the level just above the basement), etc. I had even tried placing them outside and still couldn't get it to work. I have no idea what could have caused it. I used this set in literally the house next door to house where it wasn't working with no issues (same neighborhood, facing same direction, similar build style, etc).

Side note ... after I realized cycling with M worked, I tried letting the object sit on the floor, then placing a second object, and that worked as well. Then I could delete the floor object, and have the working table. Can't believe I didn't even think of trying that before.

Thank you for the response and suggestion, and of course the set! I had been making do with a floor lamp that actually looked OK sticking through the table. I absolutely adore this set and it is currently one of my favorites, so knowing how to "fix" this issue is great in case I ever run across it in another lot.

Well, I'm glad you were able to get it to work - though I am still confused how it could have happened.
