So have you checked to see if this is LN compatible? I'm asking before I download because I spent about 10 hours determining which already-installed mods I had were causing the game to crash.

Sorry, I haven't checked it yet. Will try to make update this soon, or at least check does the previous version still work.

I assume that since this affects community lots that it will also affect fire stations? This mod sounds extremely interesting, and I'm very tempted to install it into my game, but I'm hesitant because I don't like the thought of my current firefighter sim getting charged 150 simoleons every time he works out on the weightlifting bench at work. I think that would be just as unrealistic as the free gym membership this mod seeks to do away with. Maybe I'll use this with the non-firemen sims I use in the future...

Either way, though, I do appreciate the time and effort you put into making and uploading this, ani!

LotrFanboy: Yes, it's any community lot, without discrimination, but I guess I could take a look and see can I narrow it down so fire-stations are not included in this mod, as I've been thinking about the same thing that they should get free workouts. But because nobody in my hood is currently in that career, I haven't thought about it that much.

Thanks for the reply, ani. It would be great if you could figure out a way to exclude fire stations, but no biggie if you can't.

Cool idea, but one little annoyance. When sims work out or swim on a lot owned by my sims, there is a constant stream of alerts telling me so-and-so worked out. This is amusing for about 5 minutes, but then grows annoying. Is there any way to disable that?

FreakyRufus : Currently no, but I can make it tunable when I update this the next time.

Hi ani, I love your mods! I've been using several of them for awhile now, including this one. Anyway, I was wondering if you've ever thought about maybe adding the martial arts equipment to this mod. I recently set up a gym with some training dummies and it feels so cheaty to be able to practice the skill for free, especially when you'd usually have to pay to go to the vacation world to learn it, and I thought if it could be set up like the rest of the gym equipment it would be much more balanced. If that's something you would be interested in making that would be awesome.

I would love this.

Could you please make a version that does this ani?

150 simoleons for a workout each time on the equipment? hmmmm i dunno. it would be more realistic to just pay for a session in the gym, if you could figure out how to do that. like trigger a payment when the sim leaves. that sounds better. and 40 simoleons instead of 150. that sounds pretty realistic to me

That's why I made the mod tunable so each player can modify the value to their liking

Hi! id like to thank you for your awesome mods, I started using them just recently and I love most of them. I have one small request though, can you please include resorts to the list of community lots that charge for workouts and swimming sessions? Please

I like realism in games and that adds realism to that childish game :)

Wonderful! I sometimes don't see the point of having gym equipment (or swimming pool) in my house, if I can use the community ones freely. Plus my male sim can ogle at female sims there :D

And thanks for the tuning mod! I'm dialing the fees up to 11 ;-)

Now it sounds like it charges every time you use the equipment. Am I right? Or is it a monthly fee?
